Asian Statuary, also called Oriental White, is a white marble with a bright base and soft grey veining. Some chips lean warmer, toward cream. The polished face reflects light and keeps a small room feeling open.

Chips of approximately 1 inch are pre-arranged on a mesh-backed 12 × 12 sheet, so you set whole sections at once with even spacing. The round format suits a backsplash, a bath wall or a powder room floor.

Marble is natural stone, so tone and veining shift from chip to chip, with slight variation (V2) overall. Samples are $7.99 each, up to 10 per order. Samples ship free. Care & Cleaning

Seal It

Seal with a penetrating stone sealer before grouting. Re-seal every 6–12 months in wet areas such as showers. The white base stains easily, so consistent sealing matters.

Clean It

Use a pH-neutral stone cleaner and a soft cloth or sponge. Avoid vinegar, lemon-based products and bleach, which etch and dull the polish. Wipe up oil, wine and citrus promptly.

Expect This

Color, veining and texture vary between chips. That is part of natural marble. Inspect all sheets before installation, since installed tile cannot be returned.

Tile & Mosaic Depot supplies material only. Installation method, setting materials, and substrate are your installer's responsibility. Inspect every piece before setting; installation is acceptance, and installed material cannot be returned or claimed.

Does this mosaic need sealing?

A penetrating stone sealer protects it from moisture and stains. Apply it before grouting, then re-seal every 6–12 months in wet areas. Marble is porous, and the white base shows stains readily.

What thinset and grout should I use?

White polymer-modified thinset keeps grey from showing through the white marble. For joints under 1/8", use unsanded grout and work gently to avoid scratching the polished surface. Back-butter each sheet for better adhesion.

How much should I order?

Order your full quantity plus 10% for cuts, waste and future repairs, all in one purchase. That keeps the whole job from a single lot. Mosaics are sold per sheet.

Samples are $7.99 each. Samples ship free and leave our warehouse within 1–3 business days. Sizes vary by material and availability — typically 3"×3" up to 8"×8" — and every sample is cut from the same material stocked for full orders.

What a Sample Shows
Color, texture, finish, and overall character. Because natural stone varies piece to piece, one sample represents the material but can't show the full range of a lot. How Your Order Ships
In-stock orders leave our warehouse within 2–3 business days. Stone, porcelain, and mosaic ship on a pallet via scheduled LTL freight and arrive 2–10 business days after dispatch, depending on destination. You'll get tracking and the carrier's name by email the day it ships.

Freight Delivery — What to Expect

  • The carrier calls you first. Every freight delivery is by appointment. Expect a call or text to set a window before the truck is dispatched.
  • Curbside delivery. The driver unloads to the curb or driveway. Freight does not include carrying material indoors or into a garage — plan for a helper or a hand truck.
  • Someone 18+ must sign. Inspect the pallet before signing. Note any damage, shortage, or broken shrink-wrap on the delivery receipt — this is what makes a claim valid.
  • Truck access. The address must be accessible to a full-size freight truck with enough space to unload.

Free curbside freight on qualifying mosaic and molding orders over $1,999 in the continental U.S. Field tile, porcelain, and other product types ship at freight rates shown at checkout. Not available to Hawaii, Alaska, U.S. territories, or international addresses.

Damage & Shortages
Report within 3 calendar days of delivery with photos of the pallet, packaging, and affected pieces to sales@tileandmosaicdepot.com. Verified claims are covered. Shortages of 1–5 pieces are refunded rather than reshipped — which is why we recommend ordering 10% overage.

30-Day Returns
Uninstalled tile in full, unopened boxes may be returned within 30 days of delivery. Return freight is paid by the customer. Partial boxes, opened boxes, installed material, and samples are final sale.

Natural Variation
Quarried stone varies in color, veining, shade, movement, and finish from piece to piece and from lot to lot. Screen photos and samples show the range, not the exact tile you'll receive. Variation is the nature of the material and is never grounds for return. Porcelain is far more consistent, but shade and pattern can still shift between production runs — buy your full quantity in one order.

Before You Install

  • Order 10% overage. Covers cuts, breakage, and spares for future repairs. Reorders may not match in tone or lot.
  • Inspect every piece before setting. Pull from all boxes, blend, and dry-lay the full area. Installation is acceptance — no claims are honored once tile is set.
  • Hire a qualified installer. Natural stone and large-format porcelain require experience with the material. Your installer is responsible for substrate, setting materials, and method.

Sealing & Care
Natural stone should be sealed with a penetrating sealer and re-sealed periodically in wet and high-traffic areas. Clean with a pH-neutral stone cleaner only — vinegar, bleach, ammonia, and acidic cleaners etch marble, limestone, travertine, and onyx permanently. Porcelain does not require sealing. Outdoor stone weathers and shifts in tone over time; this is expected.
