Sealing: Blue marble should be sealed with a penetrating, pH-neutral stone sealer before installation and resealed every 6–12 months in wet areas such as showers and bathroom floors. The deep color of blue marble can make water spots and mineral deposits more visible over time, making consistent sealing especially important to preserve the stone's rich tone and luster.

Cleaning: Clean with a pH-neutral stone cleaner diluted in warm water and a soft microfiber cloth or mop. Never use acidic cleaners (vinegar, citrus-based products), bleach, or abrasive scrubbers — polished marble etches easily on contact with acids, and blue marble's dark surface will show etching and dull spots more conspicuously than lighter stones. Wipe spills immediately, particularly acidic liquids.

Installation: Use white or light-grey polymer-modified thinset mortar to prevent bleed-through discoloration on the face of the tile. Back-butter each large-format 12×24 tile in addition to applying thinset to the substrate to achieve full coverage and prevent hollow spots. Use tile leveling clips during installation to maintain a flat, lippage-free surface. Allow thinset to cure fully before grouting, and choose a non-sanded grout in a matching grey or white tone to complement the stone's veining.

Order roughly 10% extra to allow for cuts, waste, and future repairs.

Installation constitutes full acceptance of the product, so review everything carefully first.

Sealing & Care
Natural stone should be sealed with a quality penetrating sealer before and after installation, and re-sealed periodically in wet or high-traffic areas. Clean only with a pH-neutral stone cleaner; avoid acidic products, bleach, vinegar, and ammonia, which can permanently etch the surface. Outdoor installations may weather or change tone over time with exposure.
