Sealing: Mocha Cream Limestone must be sealed prior to installation and re-sealed every 12–18 months, or more frequently in wet areas such as showers and around sinks. Use a penetrating impregnating sealer appropriate for porous limestone to protect against staining and moisture infiltration. The brushed finish, while slightly more resistant to showing etching than polished stone, still requires consistent sealing due to the stone's natural porosity.

Cleaning: Clean with a pH-neutral stone cleaner diluted in warm water and a soft mop or microfiber cloth. Avoid vinegar, citrus-based cleaners, bleach, or any acidic or alkaline products, as limestone is highly susceptible to etching and surface damage from chemical exposure. Wipe up spills — especially wine, coffee, and citrus juices — immediately to prevent staining.

Installation: Use a white or ivory polymer-modified thinset mortar to avoid any bleed-through discoloration on this light-toned stone. For a 24×48 large-format tile, back-buttering each tile in addition to full-coverage trowel application on the substrate is strongly recommended to achieve maximum bond and eliminate hollow spots. Use leveling clips or a tile leveling system to maintain a flat, lippage-free surface across the large format. A non-sanded or medium-bed grout in a complementary warm tone is recommended for standard grout joints.

Important: Inspect all tile before installation. Variations in color, veining, and texture between pieces are natural characteristics of genuine stone — not defects. Color, veining, texture, shade, movement, finish, and sizing vary from piece to piece. Product photos and samples are a general reference and may not match the exact material you receive. These variations are inherent characteristics of natural stone — they are part of its beauty, not defects.

Before You Install

Order roughly 10% extra to allow for cuts, waste, and future repairs.
Blend tiles from multiple boxes as you work to achieve the most natural, balanced appearance.
Dry-lay and inspect the full layout before setting a single tile.
Installation constitutes full acceptance of the product, so review everything carefully first.

Sealing & Care
Natural stone should be sealed with a quality penetrating sealer before and after installation, and re-sealed periodically in wet or high-traffic areas. Clean only with a pH-neutral stone cleaner; avoid acidic products, bleach, vinegar, and ammonia, which can permanently etch the surface. Outdoor installations may weather or change tone over time with exposure.
