Sealing: Cappuccino marble must be sealed with a penetrating stone sealer before grouting and use. In wet areas such as showers and bathroom floors, reseal every 6–12 months to protect against moisture penetration. The stone's dark background can make water staining especially visible, making consistent sealing critical.

Cleaning: Clean with a pH-neutral stone cleaner diluted in warm water and a soft microfiber mop or cloth. Never use vinegar, lemon juice, bleach, or any acidic or alkaline cleaners — polished marble etches easily on contact with acids, dulling the surface sheen. Dry the surface promptly after cleaning to prevent water spots.

Installation: Use a white polymer-modified thinset mortar to avoid any gray bleed-through on the stone's lighter veining. Back-butter each tile in addition to applying thinset to the substrate for full coverage — critical for large-format tiles to prevent hollow spots. Use tile leveling clips to maintain consistent lippage across the large 18×36 format, and allow a minimum 1/16-inch grout joint to accommodate natural stone movement.

Important: Inspect all tile before installation. Variations in color, veining, and texture between pieces are natural characteristics of genuine stone — not defects. Color, veining, texture, shade, movement, finish, and sizing vary from piece to piece. Product photos and samples are a general reference and may not match the exact material you receive. These variations are inherent characteristics of natural stone — they are part of its beauty, not defects.

Before You Install

Order roughly 10% extra to allow for cuts, waste, and future repairs.
Blend tiles from multiple boxes as you work to achieve the most natural, balanced appearance.
Dry-lay and inspect the full layout before setting a single tile.
Installation constitutes full acceptance of the product, so review everything carefully first.

Sealing & Care
Natural stone should be sealed with a quality penetrating sealer before and after installation, and re-sealed periodically in wet or high-traffic areas. Clean only with a pH-neutral stone cleaner; avoid acidic products, bleach, vinegar, and ammonia, which can permanently etch the surface. Outdoor installations may weather or change tone over time with exposure.
