Blue Parisian marble is a rare European natural stone defined by its striking blue-grey base and bold white and silver veining — a palette that evokes stormy seas and Parisian elegance in equal measure. Each 12×24 tile is cut to a generous large format, allowing the stone's dramatic veining to express itself fully across floors and walls.

The suede finish delivers a lightly buffed, velvety matte surface that softens the stone's intensity while retaining its depth and color richness. This finish reduces the reflectivity of a polished surface, making it more forgiving in high-traffic areas and wet environments, while still maintaining an elevated, designer look that polished marble cannot replicate in the same way.

Sealing: Blue Parisian marble must be sealed before grouting and after installation with a premium penetrating stone sealer. Due to its pale and medium-toned crystalline structure, this stone is moderately absorbent — reseal every 12 months in wet areas such as showers and bathroom floors, and every 18–24 months in dry applications. The suede finish is slightly more porous than a polished surface and benefits from consistent sealing maintenance.

Cleaning: Clean with a pH-neutral stone cleaner and a soft mop or cloth — never use vinegar, citrus-based cleaners, bleach, or any acidic or abrasive products, as these will etch and permanently damage the marble surface. The suede matte finish, while more forgiving than polished marble, can still show water spots and mineral deposits in hard-water areas; wipe dry after each use in wet zones to preserve the stone's appearance.

Installation: Use white polymer-modified thinset mortar to prevent any gray adhesive from telegraphing through the stone. Back-butter each tile in addition to the floor or wall substrate to ensure full coverage and eliminate voids, which is especially important for large-format tiles. Use tile leveling clips during installation to maintain consistent grout joints and prevent lippage across the 12×24 format. A non-sanded or unsanded grout is recommended for joints under 1/8 inch; sanded grout for larger joints.

Important: Inspect all tile before installation. Variations in color, veining, and texture between pieces are natural characteristics of genuine stone — not defects. A screen can't show you how Calacatta veining reads under your kitchen lights or how a porcelain finish sits next to your cabinet color. A sample can. It's the single best way to buy stone or porcelain tile with confidence — and the cheapest mistake you'll ever avoid.

How It Works
Samples are $7.99 each. Samples ship free and leave our warehouse within 1–3 business days. Sizes vary by material and availability — typically 3"×3" up to 8"×8" — and every sample is cut from the same material stocked for full orders.

What a Sample Shows
Color, texture, finish, and overall character. Because natural stone varies piece to piece, one sample represents the material but can't show the full range of a lot. How Your Order Ships
In-stock orders leave our warehouse within 2–3 business days. Stone, porcelain, and mosaic ship on a pallet via scheduled LTL freight and arrive 2–10 business days after dispatch, depending on destination. You'll get tracking and the carrier's name by email the day it ships.

Freight Delivery — What to Expect

  • The carrier calls you first. Every freight delivery is by appointment. Expect a call or text to set a window before the truck is dispatched.
  • Curbside delivery. The driver unloads to the curb or driveway. Freight does not include carrying material indoors or into a garage — plan for a helper or a hand truck.
  • Someone 18+ must sign. Inspect the pallet before signing. Note any damage, shortage, or broken shrink-wrap on the delivery receipt — this is what makes a claim valid.
  • Truck access. The address must be accessible to a full-size freight truck with enough space to unload.

Natural Variation
Quarried stone varies in color, veining, shade, movement, and finish from piece to piece and from lot to lot. Screen photos and samples show the range, not the exact tile you'll receive. Variation is the nature of the material and is never grounds for return. Porcelain is far more consistent, but shade and pattern can still shift between production runs — buy your full quantity in one order.

Before You Install

  • Order 10% overage. Covers cuts, breakage, and spares for future repairs. Reorders may not match in tone or lot.
  • Inspect every piece before setting. Pull from all boxes, blend, and dry-lay the full area. Installation is acceptance — no claims are honored once tile is set.
  • Hire a qualified installer. Natural stone and large-format porcelain require experience with the material. Your installer is responsible for substrate, setting materials, and method.

Sealing & Care
Natural stone should be sealed with a penetrating sealer and re-sealed periodically in wet and high-traffic areas. Clean with a pH-neutral stone cleaner only — vinegar, bleach, ammonia, and acidic cleaners etch marble, limestone, travertine, and onyx permanently. Porcelain does not require sealing. Outdoor stone weathers and shifts in tone over time; this is expected.
