The Planet Albi 3×3 Pool Tile Series is a purpose-engineered aquatic tile line designed for permanent installation in pools, spas, fountains, and water features, offering a vitrified, low-absorption body that stands up to continuous water contact, UV exposure, and chemical treatment cycles without fading or deteriorating.

Each 3×3 inch tile features a smooth, high-gloss or satin glaze in a curated range of water-inspired tones — from deep sapphire and teal to pale aqua and natural white — creating a luminous visual depth when submerged that shifts beautifully with changing light and water movement. The compact square format is easy to cut and fit around curves, steps, benches, and waterline transitions, making installation precise and waste-efficient.

Planet Albi tiles are ideal for full pool interior tiling, waterline accent bands, spa surrounds, and decorative water walls — they are not recommended for high-traffic dry floor areas or exterior non-aquatic paving. Because glaze colors can vary between production lots, we strongly recommend purchasing your full project quantity in a single order, and ordering a sample or test piece before committing to a large quantity.

Free Shipping: This product ships at standard freight rates calculated at checkout based on your location and order size.

Processing & Delivery: Orders are processed within 2–3 business days. Large orders ship via LTL freight — curbside delivery only. An adult must be present to sign for delivery. Estimated transit: 2–10 business days after shipment.

30-Day Returns: Uninstalled tile may be returned within 30 days of delivery. Inspect all tile carefully before installation — installed tile cannot be returned or exchanged. Samples are final sale.

Exclusions: Free shipping does not apply to Hawaii, Alaska, U.S. territories, or international addresses. Additional charges may apply for remote delivery areas.

Sealing: Glazed pool tiles do not require sealing on the tile face; however, grout joints in pool applications should be grouted with a pool-grade or epoxy grout that resists chlorine, salt water, and algae growth. Re-grout or inspect joints every 3–5 years depending on water chemistry and usage.

Cleaning: Clean with a pH-neutral, non-abrasive tile cleaner safe for pools and glazed surfaces. Avoid acidic cleaners, muriatic acid near tile faces, and abrasive scrubbing pads that can dull or scratch the glaze. For waterline calcium deposits, use a dedicated pool tile calcium remover applied carefully per manufacturer instructions.

Installation: Install with a white or gray polymer-modified thinset rated for wet and submerged applications; use an epoxy grout or pool-grade sanded grout for joints. Ensure the substrate is fully waterproofed before tiling. For waterline bands, use layout lines to maintain a perfectly level course around the full perimeter. Allow full cure time before filling the pool with water — typically 28 days for thinset and grout to reach full strength.

Important: Inspect all tile before installation. Variations in color, veining, and texture between pieces are natural characteristics of genuine stone — not defects. Order 10% overage for cuts, waste, and future repairs. Tile & Mosaic Depot specialists are available M–F 8:30AM–5PM PST at 855-797-8453.

Why Order a Sample
A screen can't show you how Calacatta veining reads under your kitchen lights or how a porcelain finish sits next to your cabinet color. A sample can. It's the single best way to buy stone or porcelain tile with confidence — and the cheapest mistake you'll ever avoid.

How It Works
Samples are $7.99 each. Samples ship free and leave our warehouse within 1–3 business days. Sizes vary by material and availability — typically 3"×3" up to 8"×8" — and every sample is cut from the same material stocked for full orders.

What a Sample Shows
Color, texture, finish, and overall character. Because natural stone varies piece to piece, one sample represents the material but can't show the full range of a lot. Porcelain samples are highly representative of the production run. Want to see the current lot before you commit? Ask us — we'll send photos.

Good to Know

  • Samples are final sale — non-returnable and non-refundable.
  • We recommend sampling before every full order, especially for natural stone.

How Your Order Ships
In-stock orders leave our warehouse within 2–3 business days. Stone, porcelain, and mosaic ship on a pallet via scheduled LTL freight and arrive 2–10 business days after dispatch, depending on destination. You'll get tracking and the carrier's name by email the day it ships.

Freight Delivery — What to Expect

  • The carrier calls you first. Every freight delivery is by appointment. Expect a call or text to set a window before the truck is dispatched.
  • Curbside delivery. The driver unloads to the curb or driveway. Freight does not include carrying material indoors or into a garage — plan for a helper or a hand truck.
  • Someone 18+ must sign. Inspect the pallet before signing. Note any damage, shortage, or broken shrink-wrap on the delivery receipt — this is what makes a claim valid.
  • Truck access. The address must be accessible to a full-size freight truck with enough space to unload.

Free Shipping
Free curbside freight on qualifying mosaic and molding orders over $1,999 in the continental U.S. Field tile, porcelain, and other product types ship at freight rates shown at checkout. Not available to Hawaii, Alaska, U.S. territories, or international addresses.

Damage & Shortages
Report within 3 calendar days of delivery with photos of the pallet, packaging, and affected pieces to sales@tileandmosaicdepot.com. Verified claims are covered. Shortages of 1–5 pieces are refunded rather than reshipped — which is why we recommend ordering 10% overage.

30-Day Returns
Uninstalled tile in full, unopened boxes may be returned within 30 days of delivery. Return freight is paid by the customer. Partial boxes, opened boxes, installed material, and samples are final sale.

Questions Before You Order?
Call (855) 797-8453 or email sales@tileandmosaicdepot.com, Monday–Friday 8:30 AM–5 PM PT. If you're unsure about freight access at your address, ask us before checkout — we'll flag anything that could hold up delivery.

Natural Variation
Quarried stone varies in color, veining, shade, movement, and finish from piece to piece and from lot to lot. Screen photos and samples show the range, not the exact tile you'll receive. Variation is the nature of the material and is never grounds for return. Porcelain is far more consistent, but shade and pattern can still shift between production runs — buy your full quantity in one order.

Before You Install

  • Order 10% overage. Covers cuts, breakage, and spares for future repairs. Reorders may not match in tone or lot.
  • Inspect every piece before setting. Pull from all boxes, blend, and dry-lay the full area. Installation is acceptance — no claims are honored once tile is set.
  • Hire a qualified installer. Natural stone and large-format porcelain require experience with the material. Your installer is responsible for substrate, setting materials, and method.

Sealing & Care
Natural stone should be sealed with a penetrating sealer and re-sealed periodically in wet and high-traffic areas. Clean with a pH-neutral stone cleaner only — vinegar, bleach, ammonia, and acidic cleaners etch marble, limestone, travertine, and onyx permanently. Porcelain does not require sealing. Outdoor stone weathers and shifts in tone over time; this is expected.

Responsibility
Tile & Mosaic Depot supplies material only. We are not responsible for installation, labor costs, substrate conditions, setting materials, product misuse, or damage from handling, sealing, maintenance, or chemicals. No claims, returns, or replacements are accepted on installed material.
