30-Day Returns: Uninstalled tile may be returned within 30 days of delivery. Inspect all tile carefully before installation — installed tile cannot be returned or exchanged. Samples are final sale.

Sealing: Honey Onyx is a porous and delicate stone that requires diligent sealing. Apply a premium penetrating stone sealer before installation and again after grouting. In wet areas such as showers, reseal every 6–12 months to prevent moisture infiltration, staining, and surface degradation. Given its pale, translucent nature, any unsealed exposure to moisture or oils can cause discoloration that is difficult to reverse.

Cleaning: Clean with a pH-neutral stone cleaner only — never use acidic cleaners such as vinegar, lemon-based products, or grout haze removers, as acids will etch and permanently dull the polished surface of onyx. Avoid abrasive scrubbers or powders. Wipe spills immediately, especially oils, wine, and citrus, as onyx is particularly vulnerable to staining and etching.

Installation: Use a bright white polymer-modified thinset mortar to avoid any gray show-through on this translucent stone. Install mesh-backed sheets with careful alignment, pressing firmly for full coverage. Use non-sanded grout for the 1×1 joints to prevent scratching the polished surface. Back-butter each sheet in addition to troweling the substrate to ensure maximum bond. Do not use acidic grout haze removers after installation.

Important: Inspect all tile before installation. Variations in color, veining, and texture between pieces are natural characteristics of genuine stone — not defects. Color, veining, texture, shade, movement, finish, and sizing vary from piece to piece. Product photos and samples are a general reference and may not match the exact material you receive. These variations are inherent characteristics of natural stone — they are part of its beauty, not defects.

Before You Install

Order roughly 10% extra to allow for cuts, waste, and future repairs.
Blend tiles from multiple boxes as you work to achieve the most natural, balanced appearance.
Dry-lay and inspect the full layout before setting a single tile.
Installation constitutes full acceptance of the product, so review everything carefully first.

Sealing & Care
Natural stone should be sealed with a quality penetrating sealer before and after installation, and re-sealed periodically in wet or high-traffic areas. Clean only with a pH-neutral stone cleaner; avoid acidic products, bleach, vinegar, and ammonia, which can permanently etch the surface. Outdoor installations may weather or change tone over time with exposure.
