Sealing: Giallo Anticato marble should be sealed with a high-quality penetrating stone sealer before installation and resealed every 12 months in dry areas, or every 6 months in wet areas such as bathrooms and kitchens. The light golden tones can show staining from oils and pigmented liquids, making consistent sealing especially important.

Cleaning: Clean with a pH-neutral stone cleaner and a soft mop or cloth — never use vinegar, lemon juice, bleach, or any acidic or alkaline cleaners, as these will etch and dull the polished surface. Wipe up spills immediately, particularly wine, coffee, citrus, and cooking oils, which can penetrate and stain the stone.

Installation: Use white polymer-modified thinset mortar to prevent any gray bleed-through from showing beneath the lighter golden areas of the tile. Back-butter each tile in addition to applying thinset to the substrate to ensure full coverage and prevent hollow spots. Allow for a 1/16" to 1/8" grout joint and use a sanded or unsanded grout matched to your preferred joint size; a warm ivory or gold-toned grout will best complement the stone's natural palette.

Important: Inspect all tile before installation. Variations in color, veining, and texture between pieces are natural characteristics of genuine stone — not defects. In-stock orders are processed within 2–3 business days. Most tile and stone orders ship via scheduled LTL freight and typically arrive 2–10 business days after dispatch, depending on your destination. You'll receive tracking and carrier details by email as soon as your order leaves our warehouse.

Freight Delivery

  • Curbside delivery. The carrier unloads at the curb or driveway nearest your address; delivery does not include moving materials indoors or into a garage.
  • Scheduled appointment. The freight company contacts you directly to arrange a delivery window.
  • Signature required. An adult (18+) must be present to inspect and sign for the shipment.

Natural Variation
Color, veining, texture, shade, movement, finish, and sizing vary from piece to piece. Product photos and samples are a general reference and may not match the exact material you receive. These variations are inherent characteristics of natural stone — they are part of its beauty, not defects.

Before You Install

  • Order roughly 10% extra to allow for cuts, waste, and future repairs.
  • Blend tiles from multiple boxes as you work to achieve the most natural, balanced appearance.
  • Dry-lay and inspect the full layout before setting a single tile.
  • Installation constitutes full acceptance of the product, so review everything carefully first.

Sealing & Care
Natural stone should be sealed with a quality penetrating sealer before and after installation, and re-sealed periodically in wet or high-traffic areas. Clean only with a pH-neutral stone cleaner; avoid acidic products, bleach, vinegar, and ammonia, which can permanently etch the surface. Outdoor installations may weather or change tone over time with exposure.
