Sealing: Thassos White marble must be sealed before and after grouting with a premium penetrating stone sealer. Because it is one of the most porous white marbles available, sealing should be repeated every 6–12 months in wet areas such as showers and bathroom floors to maintain stain resistance and preserve its bright white appearance.

Cleaning: Clean with a pH-neutral stone cleaner diluted in warm water; avoid vinegar, citrus-based cleaners, bleach, or any acidic or alkaline products, which will etch and dull the honed surface. Wipe up spills — especially wine, coffee, and oils — immediately, as the white stone shows staining very readily. Avoid abrasive scrubbing pads that can scratch the matte finish.

Installation: Always use white polymer-modified thinset mortar to prevent any gray show-through on this bright white stone. Back-butter each tile in addition to applying thinset to the substrate to ensure full coverage and avoid hollow spots. Use a non-sanded grout for joints under 1/8 inch, and choose a bright white grout to maintain a seamless appearance. Allow tiles to fully cure before sealing.

Important: Inspect all tile before installation. Variations in color, veining, and texture between pieces are natural characteristics of genuine stone — not defects. Sealing & Care
Natural stone should be sealed with a quality penetrating sealer before and after installation, and re-sealed periodically in wet or high-traffic areas. Clean only with a pH-neutral stone cleaner; avoid acidic products, bleach, vinegar, and ammonia, which can permanently etch the surface. Outdoor installations may weather or change tone over time with exposure.
