Sealing: Thassos White is a dense but highly absorbent white marble that must be sealed before installation and resealed every 6–12 months in wet areas such as showers and bathroom floors. Use a penetrating impregnating sealer specifically formulated for white or light-colored natural stone to prevent staining from hard water, soap, and oils.

Cleaning: Clean with a pH-neutral stone cleaner and a soft microfiber cloth or mop — never use acidic cleaners (vinegar, citrus, or grout haze removers) or alkaline products, as these will etch the polished surface and cause permanent dull spots. Wipe up spills immediately, especially from coffee, wine, juice, and colored soaps, to prevent staining on this bright white stone.

Installation: Always use white polymer-modified thinset mortar — gray thinset will show through the translucent Thassos marble and discolor the tile from below. Back-butter each tile fully to ensure 95–100% coverage and eliminate hollow spots. Use a non-sanded or fine-grain grout in a white or light tone, and ensure substrate is perfectly flat to prevent lippage on this large format tile.

Important: Inspect all tile before installation. Variations in color, veining, and texture between pieces are natural characteristics of genuine stone — not defects. Color, veining, texture, shade, movement, finish, and sizing vary from piece to piece. Product photos and samples are a general reference and may not match the exact material you receive. These variations are inherent characteristics of natural stone — they are part of its beauty, not defects.

Before You Install

Order roughly 10% extra to allow for cuts, waste, and future repairs.
Blend tiles from multiple boxes as you work to achieve the most natural, balanced appearance.
Dry-lay and inspect the full layout before setting a single tile.
Installation constitutes full acceptance of the product, so review everything carefully first.

Sealing & Care
Natural stone should be sealed with a quality penetrating sealer before and after installation, and re-sealed periodically in wet or high-traffic areas. Clean only with a pH-neutral stone cleaner; avoid acidic products, bleach, vinegar, and ammonia, which can permanently etch the surface. Outdoor installations may weather or change tone over time with exposure.
