Calacatta Umber Marble12 × 24 Honed

Honed white marble with soft gray veining and warm gold-beige streaks, in a 12 × 24 format for indoor walls and floors.

A bright white ground carries soft gray veining and pale, warm gold-beige streaks. The honed finish is smooth and low-sheen, so the veining reads calm rather than glossy. Each 12 × 24 tile covers 2 sq ft.

The 1:2 proportion lays in a straight grid, brick bond, or herringbone. Veining differs from tile to tile, so blend tiles from several boxes as you set them. Dry-lay a section first to plan the flow of the veining.

Care & Cleaning

Seal It

Marble is porous. Apply a quality penetrating stone sealer before and after installation, and re-seal periodically, especially in kitchens and bathrooms.

Clean It

Use a pH-neutral stone cleaner. Avoid acidic cleaners, bleach, vinegar, and ammonia-based products, which can etch marble.

Expect This

Veining and tone vary from tile to tile. Honed marble shows minor etching and water spots less than polished, but pale stone still shows stains readily.

Tile & Mosaic Depot supplies material only. Installation method, setting materials, and substrate are your installer's responsibility. Inspect every piece before setting; installation is acceptance, and installed material cannot be returned or claimed.

How do I order samples?

Add up to 10 samples to one order at $7.99 each. Samples ship free and go out within 1-3 business days, so you can see the veining in your own light.

Can I use it on a floor?

Yes, on indoor floors, ideally low-traffic ones. The honed finish shows etching and water spots less than polished. Shower floors, pools, and exteriors are not confirmed for this tile.

How much do I need to order?

It is sold per sq ft with a 50 sq ft minimum. Each tile covers 2 sq ft, so the minimum is 25 tiles. Add 10% to your measured area for cuts and to keep the job in one lot.

Does it need sealing?

Sealing is recommended. A penetrating stone sealer applied before and after installation protects the pale surface from staining. Re-seal periodically in kitchens and bathrooms.

How It Works
Samples are $7.99 each. Samples ship free and leave our warehouse within 1–3 business days. Sizes vary by material and availability — typically 3"×3" up to 8"×8" — and every sample is cut from the same material stocked for full orders.

What a Sample Shows
Color, texture, finish, and overall character. Because natural stone varies piece to piece, one sample represents the material but can't show the full range of a lot. Porcelain samples are highly representative of the production run. Want to see the current lot before you commit? Ask us — we'll send photos.

How Your Order Ships
In-stock orders leave our warehouse within 2–3 business days. Stone, porcelain, and mosaic ship on a pallet via scheduled LTL freight and arrive 2–10 business days after dispatch, depending on destination. You'll get tracking and the carrier's name by email the day it ships.

Freight Delivery — What to Expect

  • The carrier calls you first. Every freight delivery is by appointment. Expect a call or text to set a window before the truck is dispatched.
  • Curbside delivery. The driver unloads to the curb or driveway. Freight does not include carrying material indoors or into a garage — plan for a helper or a hand truck.
  • Someone 18+ must sign. Inspect the pallet before signing. Note any damage, shortage, or broken shrink-wrap on the delivery receipt — this is what makes a claim valid.
  • Truck access. The address must be accessible to a full-size freight truck with enough space to unload.

Free Shipping
Free curbside freight on qualifying mosaic and molding orders over $1,999 in the continental U.S. Field tile, porcelain, and other product types ship at freight rates shown at checkout. Not available to Hawaii, Alaska, U.S. territories, or international addresses.

Damage & Shortages
Report within 3 calendar days of delivery with photos of the pallet, packaging, and affected pieces to sales@tileandmosaicdepot.com. Verified claims are covered. Shortages of 1–5 pieces are refunded rather than reshipped — which is why we recommend ordering 10% overage.

30-Day Returns
Uninstalled tile in full, unopened boxes may be returned within 30 days of delivery. Return freight is paid by the customer. Partial boxes, opened boxes, installed material, and samples are final sale.

Natural Variation
Quarried stone varies in color, veining, shade, movement, and finish from piece to piece and from lot to lot. Screen photos and samples show the range, not the exact tile you'll receive. Variation is the nature of the material and is never grounds for return. Porcelain is far more consistent, but shade and pattern can still shift between production runs — buy your full quantity in one order.

Before You Install

  • Order 10% overage. Covers cuts, breakage, and spares for future repairs. Reorders may not match in tone or lot.
  • Inspect every piece before setting. Pull from all boxes, blend, and dry-lay the full area. Installation is acceptance — no claims are honored once tile is set.
  • Hire a qualified installer. Natural stone and large-format porcelain require experience with the material. Your installer is responsible for substrate, setting materials, and method.

Sealing & Care
Natural stone should be sealed with a penetrating sealer and re-sealed periodically in wet and high-traffic areas. Clean with a pH-neutral stone cleaner only — vinegar, bleach, ammonia, and acidic cleaners etch marble, limestone, travertine, and onyx permanently. Porcelain does not require sealing. Outdoor stone weathers and shifts in tone over time; this is expected.
