Sealing: Thassos White marble must be sealed before grouting and regularly re-sealed to protect its pristine surface. In wet areas such as showers, apply a penetrating stone sealer every 6–12 months. Because this stone is exceptionally white and porous, thorough sealing is critical to prevent staining from soap, shampoo, and hard water minerals.

Cleaning: Clean with a pH-neutral stone cleaner and a soft microfiber cloth or mop. Never use acidic cleaners (vinegar, citrus), bleach, or abrasive scrubbing pads — these will etch the honed surface and dull the stone's natural finish. Wipe up spills immediately, especially oils and colored liquids, as Thassos is highly susceptible to staining due to its pure white, open-crystal structure.

Installation: Always use bright white polymer-modified thinset mortar — gray thinset can bleed through Thassos and permanently discolor its ultra-white surface. Use non-sanded grout for the narrow joints between hexagon chips to avoid scratching the honed finish. Back-butter individual sheets on larger installations for full coverage, and check mesh alignment carefully at sheet seams for a seamless geometric pattern. Allow thinset to fully cure before grouting.
