Sealing: Pool-grade glazed tile does not require sealing on the face; however, grout joints in pool environments should be sealed with a waterproof, pool-safe grout sealer upon installation and re-inspected annually. In hot tub or spa applications where chemical concentrations are higher, inspect grout integrity every 6–12 months.

Cleaning: Clean with a pH-neutral, pool-safe tile cleaner to remove calcium deposits, algae, or waterline scum. Avoid acidic cleaners such as muriatic acid directly on tile surfaces as these can dull the glaze and degrade grout over time. For stubborn calcium scale, use a calcium remover specifically formulated as tile-safe and rinse thoroughly.

Installation: Use a pool-rated, waterproof white thinset mortar and a pool-safe, non-sanded or sanded grout appropriate to your joint width (typically 1/8 inch for 6×6 field tile). Back-butter each tile in addition to applying thinset to the substrate for maximum bond strength in submerged and wet applications. Allow full mortar cure time (minimum 28 days) before filling the pool with water.

Important: Inspect all tile before installation. Variations in color, veining, and texture between pieces are natural characteristics of genuine stone — not defects. In-stock orders are processed within 2–3 business days. Most tile and stone orders ship via scheduled LTL freight and typically arrive 2–10 business days after dispatch, depending on your destination. You'll receive tracking and carrier details by email as soon as your order leaves our warehouse.

Freight Delivery

  • Curbside delivery. The carrier unloads at the curb or driveway nearest your address; delivery does not include moving materials indoors or into a garage.
  • Scheduled appointment. The freight company contacts you directly to arrange a delivery window.
  • Signature required. An adult (18+) must be present to inspect and sign for the shipment.
  • Clear access. Please ensure the delivery site is reachable by a freight truck and free of obstructions.

Natural Variation
Color, veining, texture, shade, movement, finish, and sizing vary from piece to piece. Product photos and samples are a general reference and may not match the exact material you receive. These variations are inherent characteristics of natural stone — they are part of its beauty, not defects.

Before You Install

  • Order roughly 10% extra to allow for cuts, waste, and future repairs.
  • Blend tiles from multiple boxes as you work to achieve the most natural, balanced appearance.
  • Dry-lay and inspect the full layout before setting a single tile.
  • Installation constitutes full acceptance of the product, so review everything carefully first.

Sealing & Care
Natural stone should be sealed with a quality penetrating sealer before and after installation, and re-sealed periodically in wet or high-traffic areas. Clean only with a pH-neutral stone cleaner; avoid acidic products, bleach, vinegar, and ammonia, which can permanently etch the surface. Outdoor installations may weather or change tone over time with exposure.
