The Tokyo Aspen Blue 6×6 is a semi-gloss ceramic pool tile designed to bring a serene, water-inspired palette to both residential and commercial aquatic spaces. Its soft blue-gray tone is specially formulated to remain vibrant and true-to-color in full submersion, making it ideal for pool waterlines, interiors, and spa surrounds.

The semi-gloss finish strikes a balance between reflective luminosity and practical durability — enhancing the shimmering quality of pool water while resisting the calcium deposits and chemical exposure common in pool environments. The 6×6 format installs quickly in a straightforward grid pattern, making it a cost-effective choice for both small plunge pools and large commercial pools.

This tile is rated for pool and wet area use and performs excellently at the waterline, on pool steps, and across full pool floors when paired with appropriate anti-slip grout. Sealing: Ceramic tile does not require sealing; however, grout joints in pool environments should be sealed with a waterproof, pool-rated grout sealer. Reapply grout sealer annually or as needed depending on chemical exposure and usage intensity.

Cleaning: Clean with a pH-neutral tile cleaner or a diluted white vinegar solution for calcium and mineral deposits. Avoid abrasive scrubbers that can dull the semi-gloss surface. For pool maintenance, standard pool chemistry (balanced pH 7.2–7.8) will preserve the tile's finish and color over time.

Installation: Use a white polymer-modified thinset mortar to prevent any color bleed behind the tile. Install with a 1/8" to 3/16" grout joint and use a pool-rated, non-sanded or sanded grout appropriate to joint size. Back-butter each tile for full adhesion in submerged and waterline applications. Ensure substrate is fully waterproofed prior to installation in pool environments.

Important: Inspect all tile before installation. Variations in color, veining, and texture between pieces are natural characteristics of genuine stone — not defects. In-stock orders are processed within 2–3 business days. Most tile and stone orders ship via scheduled LTL freight and typically arrive 2–10 business days after dispatch, depending on your destination. You'll receive tracking and carrier details by email as soon as your order leaves our warehouse.

Freight Delivery

  • Curbside delivery. The carrier unloads at the curb or driveway nearest your address; delivery does not include moving materials indoors or into a garage.
  • Scheduled appointment. The freight company contacts you directly to arrange a delivery window.
  • Signature required. An adult (18+) must be present to inspect and sign for the shipment.
  • Clear access. Please ensure the delivery site is reachable by a freight truck and free of obstructions.

Natural Variation
Color, veining, texture, shade, movement, finish, and sizing vary from piece to piece. Product photos and samples are a general reference and may not match the exact material you receive. These variations are inherent characteristics of natural stone — they are part of its beauty, not defects.

Before You Install

  • Order roughly 10% extra to allow for cuts, waste, and future repairs.
  • Blend tiles from multiple boxes as you work to achieve the most natural, balanced appearance.
  • Dry-lay and inspect the full layout before setting a single tile.
  • Installation constitutes full acceptance of the product, so review everything carefully first.

Sealing & Care
Natural stone should be sealed with a quality penetrating sealer before and after installation, and re-sealed periodically in wet or high-traffic areas. Clean only with a pH-neutral stone cleaner; avoid acidic products, bleach, vinegar, and ammonia, which can permanently etch the surface. Outdoor installations may weather or change tone over time with exposure.
