Artistic Legend 1 is a multi-stone decorative mosaic tile that blends natural marbles, limestones, and complementary stones sourced from European and Asian quarries into a single cohesive, artisan-inspired composition. The palette spans warm creams, soft grays, and earthy taupes, unified by varied veining and a mix of surface finishes that together create a richly textured, almost painterly aesthetic.

The mosaic arrives pre-assembled on a mesh backing, allowing the intricate multi-stone pattern to be set quickly and accurately without the need for hand-sorting individual chips on site. The combination of polished, honed, and potentially tumbled chip finishes within the same sheet creates dimensional contrast and depth that catches light differently throughout the day.

Processing & Delivery: Orders are processed within 2–3 business days. Large orders ship via LTL freight — curbside delivery only. An adult must be present to sign for delivery. Estimated transit: 2–10 business days after shipment.

30-Day Returns: Uninstalled tile may be returned within 30 days of delivery. Inspect all tile carefully before installation — installed tile cannot be returned or exchanged. Samples are final sale.

Exclusions: Free shipping does not apply to Hawaii, Alaska, U.S. territories, or international addresses. Additional charges may apply for remote delivery areas.

Sealing: All natural stone components in this mosaic should be sealed prior to grouting and again after installation. In wet areas such as showers or behind kitchen sinks, reapply a penetrating stone sealer every 12–18 months to protect against moisture intrusion and staining. Pale cream and beige stones in the blend are particularly susceptible to oil and water staining and benefit from a high-quality impregnating sealer.

Cleaning: Clean with a pH-neutral stone cleaner diluted in warm water using a soft cloth or non-abrasive sponge. Never use vinegar, citrus-based cleaners, bleach, or any acidic or alkaline products, as these will etch polished surfaces and degrade the sealer. Blot spills immediately rather than wiping to prevent spreading.

Installation: Use white polymer-modified thinset mortar to avoid any gray bleed-through on pale stone chips. Align mesh sheets carefully on a dry-laid test area before committing to adhesive. Use non-sanded grout for joints under 1/8 inch. Back-butter each sheet lightly in addition to troweling the substrate to ensure full contact behind all chip sizes. Allow thinset to cure fully before grouting.

Important: Inspect all tile before installation. Variations in color, veining, and texture between pieces are natural characteristics of genuine stone — not defects. A screen can't show you how Calacatta veining reads under your kitchen lights or how a porcelain finish sits next to your cabinet color. A sample can. It's the single best way to buy stone or porcelain tile with confidence — and the cheapest mistake you'll ever avoid.

How It Works
Samples are $7.99 each. Samples ship free and leave our warehouse within 1–3 business days. Sizes vary by material and availability — typically 3"×3" up to 8"×8" — and every sample is cut from the same material stocked for full orders.

What a Sample Shows
Color, texture, finish, and overall character. Because natural stone varies piece to piece, one sample represents the material but can't show the full range of a lot. Porcelain samples are highly representative of the production run. Want to see the current lot before you commit? Ask us — we'll send photos.

How Your Order Ships
In-stock orders leave our warehouse within 2–3 business days. Stone, porcelain, and mosaic ship on a pallet via scheduled LTL freight and arrive 2–10 business days after dispatch, depending on destination. You'll get tracking and the carrier's name by email the day it ships.

Freight Delivery — What to Expect

  • The carrier calls you first. Every freight delivery is by appointment. Expect a call or text to set a window before the truck is dispatched.
  • Curbside delivery. The driver unloads to the curb or driveway. Freight does not include carrying material indoors or into a garage — plan for a helper or a hand truck.
  • Someone 18+ must sign. Inspect the pallet before signing. Note any damage, shortage, or broken shrink-wrap on the delivery receipt — this is what makes a claim valid.
  • Truck access. The address must be accessible to a full-size freight truck with enough space to unload.

Uninstalled tile in full, unopened boxes may be returned within 30 days of delivery. Return freight is paid by the customer. Partial boxes, opened boxes, installed material, and samples are final sale.

Natural Variation
Quarried stone varies in color, veining, shade, movement, and finish from piece to piece and from lot to lot. Screen photos and samples show the range, not the exact tile you'll receive. Variation is the nature of the material and is never grounds for return. Porcelain is far more consistent, but shade and pattern can still shift between production runs — buy your full quantity in one order.

Before You Install

  • Order 10% overage. Covers cuts, breakage, and spares for future repairs. Reorders may not match in tone or lot.
  • Inspect every piece before setting. Pull from all boxes, blend, and dry-lay the full area. Installation is acceptance — no claims are honored once tile is set.
  • Hire a qualified installer. Natural stone and large-format porcelain require experience with the material. Your installer is responsible for substrate, setting materials, and method.

Sealing & Care
Natural stone should be sealed with a penetrating sealer and re-sealed periodically in wet and high-traffic areas. Clean with a pH-neutral stone cleaner only — vinegar, bleach, ammonia, and acidic cleaners etch marble, limestone, travertine, and onyx permanently. Porcelain does not require sealing. Outdoor stone weathers and shifts in tone over time; this is expected.
