Sealing: Cappuccino marble, despite its dark color, is porous and should be sealed with a premium penetrating stone sealer prior to installation and resealed every 12 months in wet areas such as showers. In drier applications like backsplashes, resealing every 2 years is generally sufficient.

Cleaning: Clean with a pH-neutral stone cleaner and a soft cloth only — avoid acidic cleaners, vinegar, citrus-based products, and abrasive scrubbers, which can etch and dull the polished surface. Wipe spills promptly, especially oils and acidic liquids, to prevent staining on the polished face.

Installation: Use white or light gray polymer-modified thinset to avoid any bleed-through on the stone face. Apply thinset directly to the back of each liner piece with a notched trowel and press firmly to ensure full contact. Use non-sanded grout for tight joints and allow full cure before exposing to water.

Important: Inspect all tile before installation. Variations in color, veining, and texture between pieces are natural characteristics of genuine stone — not defects. Color, veining, texture, shade, movement, finish, and sizing vary from piece to piece. Product photos and samples are a general reference and may not match the exact material you receive. These variations are inherent characteristics of natural stone — they are part of its beauty, not defects.

Before You Install

Order roughly 10% extra to allow for cuts, waste, and future repairs.
Blend tiles from multiple boxes as you work to achieve the most natural, balanced appearance.
Dry-lay and inspect the full layout before setting a single tile.
Installation constitutes full acceptance of the product, so review everything carefully first.

Sealing & Care
Natural stone should be sealed with a quality penetrating sealer before and after installation, and re-sealed periodically in wet or high-traffic areas. Clean only with a pH-neutral stone cleaner; avoid acidic products, bleach, vinegar, and ammonia, which can permanently etch the surface. Outdoor installations may weather or change tone over time with exposure.
