Sealing: Glass tile is non-porous and does not require sealing. However, grout joints should be sealed with a penetrating grout sealer upon installation and resealed annually, especially in pools with high chemical exposure, to prevent staining and mineral buildup in the joints.

Cleaning: Clean with a pH-neutral tile cleaner or a diluted white vinegar solution for mineral and calcium deposits. Avoid harsh abrasive cleaners, steel wool, or acidic chemical cleaners that can etch the glass surface or deteriorate grout joints. For pool tile, periodic professional acid washing of grout joints may be appropriate but should be done carefully to avoid prolonged contact with the tile face.

Installation: Use a white polymer-modified thinset mortar to prevent color bleed-through the semi-translucent glass body. Back-butter each tile in addition to applying thinset to the substrate for maximum adhesion on pool walls. Use non-sanded or sanded pool-grade grout depending on joint width, and ensure full coverage behind each tile to eliminate voids that could cause cracking under hydrostatic pressure. Allow full cure time before filling the pool.

Important: Inspect all tile before installation. Variations in color, veining, and texture between pieces are natural characteristics of genuine stone — not defects. In-stock orders are processed within 2–3 business days. Most tile and stone orders ship via scheduled LTL freight and typically arrive 2–10 business days after dispatch, depending on your destination. You'll receive tracking and carrier details by email as soon as your order leaves our warehouse.

Freight Delivery

  • Curbside delivery. The carrier unloads at the curb or driveway nearest your address; delivery does not include moving materials indoors or into a garage.
  • Scheduled appointment. The freight company contacts you directly to arrange a delivery window.
  • Signature required. An adult (18+) must be present to inspect and sign for the shipment.

Natural Variation
Color, veining, texture, shade, movement, finish, and sizing vary from piece to piece. Product photos and samples are a general reference and may not match the exact material you receive. These variations are inherent characteristics of natural stone — they are part of its beauty, not defects.

Before You Install

  • Order roughly 10% extra to allow for cuts, waste, and future repairs.
  • Blend tiles from multiple boxes as you work to achieve the most natural, balanced appearance.
  • Dry-lay and inspect the full layout before setting a single tile.
  • Installation constitutes full acceptance of the product, so review everything carefully first.

Sealing & Care
Natural stone should be sealed with a quality penetrating sealer before and after installation, and re-sealed periodically in wet or high-traffic areas. Clean only with a pH-neutral stone cleaner; avoid acidic products, bleach, vinegar, and ammonia, which can permanently etch the surface. Outdoor installations may weather or change tone over time with exposure.
