Sealing: Glazed ceramic is naturally impervious and does not require sealing on the tile face. Grout joints in pool environments should be sealed with a penetrating, pool-grade grout sealer annually or as recommended by the grout manufacturer, particularly in freeze-thaw climates.

Cleaning: Clean with a pH-neutral tile cleaner or a diluted pool-safe tile and scale remover. Avoid acid-based cleaners, muriatic acid treatments near the tile surface, and abrasive scrubbers, which can dull the glaze over time. For calcium and mineral scale buildup common at waterlines, use a non-abrasive calcium remover formulated for glazed pool tile.

Installation: Use a pool-grade, polymer-modified white thinset mortar rated for submerged and wet outdoor applications. Ensure the substrate is fully cured, level, and waterproofed before setting. Allow full cure time before filling the pool. Use non-sanded, pool-rated grout with joints of at least 1/16 inch; epoxy grout is recommended for maximum chemical and stain resistance in pool environments. Follow TCNA guidelines for pool tile installation.

Important: Inspect all tile before installation. Variations in color, veining, and texture between pieces are natural characteristics of genuine stone — not defects. Freight Delivery

  • Curbside delivery. The carrier unloads at the curb or driveway nearest your address; delivery does not include moving materials indoors or into a garage.
  • Scheduled appointment. The freight company contacts you directly to arrange a delivery window.
  • Signature required. An adult (18+) must be present to inspect and sign for the shipment.

Natural Variation
Color, veining, texture, shade, movement, finish, and sizing vary from piece to piece. Product photos and samples are a general reference and may not match the exact material you receive. These variations are inherent characteristics of natural stone — they are part of its beauty, not defects.

Before You Install

  • Order roughly 10% extra to allow for cuts, waste, and future repairs.
  • Blend tiles from multiple boxes as you work to achieve the most natural, balanced appearance.
  • Dry-lay and inspect the full layout before setting a single tile.
  • Installation constitutes full acceptance of the product, so review everything carefully first.

Sealing & Care
Natural stone should be sealed with a quality penetrating sealer before and after installation, and re-sealed periodically in wet or high-traffic areas. Clean only with a pH-neutral stone cleaner; avoid acidic products, bleach, vinegar, and ammonia, which can permanently etch the surface. Outdoor installations may weather or change tone over time with exposure.
