Sealing: Although this tile's dense composition offers natural resistance to moisture, applying a penetrating stone and tile sealer annually — or every season in heavily used pools — is recommended to protect grout joints and any natural stone components from chemical absorption and staining. Pay particular attention to grout lines, which are more porous than the tile face itself.

Cleaning: Clean with a pH-neutral tile cleaner or a diluted mild dish soap solution; avoid acidic cleaners (vinegar, citrus-based products) and abrasive scrubbers that can dull the polished surface. For pool installations, maintain balanced water chemistry (pH 7.2–7.6) to prevent etching, scaling, or discoloration on the tile surface over time.

Installation: Use a white or light-gray polymer-modified thinset mortar rated for wet and submerged applications; dark-pigmented mortars can bleed through and alter the apparent tile color. Set tiles with a 1/16" to 1/8" grout joint using a sanded, pool-rated grout in white or light gray to maintain the clean, crisp appearance. Back-butter each tile fully to eliminate voids that could allow water infiltration or tile pop-off in freeze-thaw or submerged conditions.

Important: Inspect all tile before installation. Variations in color, veining, and texture between pieces are natural characteristics of genuine stone — not defects. Processing & Transit
In-stock orders are processed within 2–3 business days. Most tile and stone orders ship via scheduled LTL freight and typically arrive 2–10 business days after dispatch, depending on your destination. You'll receive tracking and carrier details by email as soon as your order leaves our warehouse.

Freight Delivery

  • Curbside delivery. The carrier unloads at the curb or driveway nearest your address; delivery does not include moving materials indoors or into a garage.
  • Scheduled appointment. The freight company contacts you directly to arrange a delivery window.
  • Signature required. An adult (18+) must be present to inspect and sign for the shipment.

Natural Variation
Color, veining, texture, shade, movement, finish, and sizing vary from piece to piece. Product photos and samples are a general reference and may not match the exact material you receive. These variations are inherent characteristics of natural stone — they are part of its beauty, not defects.

Before You Install

  • Order roughly 10% extra to allow for cuts, waste, and future repairs.
  • Blend tiles from multiple boxes as you work to achieve the most natural, balanced appearance.
  • Dry-lay and inspect the full layout before setting a single tile.
  • Installation constitutes full acceptance of the product, so review everything carefully first.

Sealing & Care
Natural stone should be sealed with a quality penetrating sealer before and after installation, and re-sealed periodically in wet or high-traffic areas. Clean only with a pH-neutral stone cleaner; avoid acidic products, bleach, vinegar, and ammonia, which can permanently etch the surface. Outdoor installations may weather or change tone over time with exposure.
