Noce Travertine — the deepest, richest travertine color. Deep brown, chocolate, and walnut tones with low variation. Tile, mosaic, molding, and paver formats in tumbled, honed, brushed, and Versailles pattern finishes. The most consistent dark travertine for large installations. Noce Travertine Baseboard Molding5 × 12 Honed

A 5 × 12 honed travertine baseboard in walnut brown, caramel and amber, with a molded top edge for finishing the wall base.

Cut from natural travertine, this baseboard has a stepped, double-line profile along the top edge and a smooth honed face. The finish is matte and low-sheen. Small voids and cross-cut patterning show through in warm browns, tans and amber.

It sets a finished edge where travertine or other stone floor tile meets the wall. At 5 inches tall and 12 inches long, each piece covers one linear foot of wall. Sold per piece.

Tone, voids and veining differ from piece to piece, so lay pieces out before setting them. Your sample comes from the lot we have in stock now, so it shows that lot's actual color range and finish. Future lots may look lighter, darker, or more veined, so order your full quantity plus 10% at once to keep the whole job from one lot.

Care & Cleaning

Seal It

Seal with a penetrating impregnating sealer before installation. Reseal every 12–18 months, especially in bathrooms and kitchens where moisture is present.

Clean It

Use a pH-neutral stone cleaner and a soft cloth. Avoid vinegar, citrus and acidic or abrasive products, which can dull the honed surface. Wipe spills promptly.

Expect This

Natural voids, cross-cut patterning and tone changes are part of travertine. Your installer can fill voids with color-matched grout or travertine filler if you prefer a smoother look.

Tile & Mosaic Depot supplies material only. Installation method, setting materials, and substrate are your installer's responsibility. Inspect every piece before setting; installation is acceptance, and installed material cannot be returned or claimed.

How do I order a sample?

Add up to 10 samples to one order at $7.99 each. Samples ship free and go out within 1–3 business days. Holding the sample next to your floor tile is the best way to check the color.

How many pieces do I need?

Measure the wall length in feet. Each piece is 12 inches long, so one piece covers one linear foot. Add 10% for cuts and breakage, and order everything at once so it comes from one lot.

Can I use it in a bathroom?

Yes, as a sealed wall base in a bathroom. Seal it before installation and reseal every 12–18 months. It is made as a wall base, not for flat floor-field installation.

Does this molding ship free?

Free shipping applies to moldings on orders over $1,999. Orders below that ship at rates calculated at checkout.

How It Works
Samples are $7.99 each. Samples ship free and leave our warehouse within 1–3 business days. Sizes vary by material and availability — typically 3"×3" up to 8"×8" — and every sample is cut from the same material stocked for full orders.

What a Sample Shows
Color, texture, finish, and overall character. Because natural stone varies piece to piece, one sample represents the material but can't show the full range of a lot. Porcelain samples are highly representative of the production run. Want to see the current lot before you commit? Ask us — we'll send photos.

How Your Order Ships
In-stock orders leave our warehouse within 2–3 business days. Stone, porcelain, and mosaic ship on a pallet via scheduled LTL freight and arrive 2–10 business days after dispatch, depending on destination. You'll get tracking and the carrier's name by email the day it ships.

Freight Delivery — What to Expect

The carrier calls you first. Every freight delivery is by appointment. Expect a call or text to set a window before the truck is dispatched.
Curbside delivery. The driver unloads to the curb or driveway. Freight does not include carrying material indoors or into a garage — plan for a helper or a hand truck.
Someone 18+ must sign. Inspect the pallet before signing. Note any damage, shortage, or broken shrink-wrap on the delivery receipt — this is what makes a claim valid.
Truck access. The address must be accessible to a full-size freight truck with enough space to unload.

Free Shipping
Free curbside freight on qualifying mosaic and molding orders over $1,999 in the continental U.S. Field tile, porcelain, and other product types ship at freight rates shown at checkout. Not available to Hawaii, Alaska, U.S. territories, or international addresses.

Damage & Shortages
Report within 3 calendar days of delivery with photos of the pallet, packaging, and affected pieces to sales@tileandmosaicdepot.com. Verified claims are covered. Shortages of 1–5 pieces are refunded rather than reshipped — which is why we recommend ordering 10% overage.

30-Day Returns
Uninstalled tile in full, unopened boxes may be returned within 30 days of delivery. Return freight is paid by the customer. Partial boxes, opened boxes, installed material, and samples are final sale.

Natural Variation
Quarried stone varies in color, veining, shade, movement, and finish from piece to piece and from lot to lot. Screen photos and samples show the range, not the exact tile you'll receive. Variation is the nature of the material and is never grounds for return. Porcelain is far more consistent, but shade and pattern can still shift between production runs — buy your full quantity in one order.

Before You Install

Order 10% overage. Covers cuts, breakage, and spares for future repairs. Reorders may not match in tone or lot.
Inspect every piece before setting. Pull from all boxes, blend, and dry-lay the full area. Installation is acceptance — no claims are honored once tile is set.
Hire a qualified installer. Natural stone and large-format porcelain require experience with the material. Your installer is responsible for substrate, setting materials, and method.

Sealing & Care
Natural stone should be sealed with a penetrating sealer and re-sealed periodically in wet and high-traffic areas. Clean with a pH-neutral stone cleaner only — vinegar, bleach, ammonia, and acidic cleaners etch marble, limestone, travertine, and onyx permanently. Porcelain does not require sealing. Outdoor stone weathers and shifts in tone over time; this is expected.
