Noce Travertine18 × 18 Filled Honed, Straight Edge

Noce travertine in warm walnut and caramel, filled and honed to a smooth, matte face on an 18 × 18 square.

Noce runs from deep walnut to light caramel, with golden and ivory flecks and small natural pits. In the photos, the tiles shift from one to the next, some closer to honey, some closer to chocolate. That movement gives a floor or wall its depth.

The voids are filled and the face is honed, so the surface reads flat and matte rather than glossy. The 18 × 18 square means fewer grout lines than a smaller tile. It suits warm, earthy rooms: entries, bath walls, a kitchen backsplash.

Care & Cleaning

Seal It

Seal with a penetrating stone sealer before grouting. Honed travertine is more absorbent than polished, so follow the sealer maker's directions for re-sealing.

Clean It

Use a pH-neutral stone cleaner and warm water. Avoid vinegar, citrus, bleach, and other acidic or harsh cleaners. Blot spills quickly.

Expect This

Color, pitting, and tone vary from tile to tile. Travertine is calcium-based and can etch if acids touch the surface.

Tile & Mosaic Depot supplies material only. Installation method, setting materials, and substrate are your installer's responsibility. Inspect every piece before setting; installation is acceptance, and installed material cannot be returned or claimed.

You can protect it with a penetrating stone sealer, and we recommend it. Honed travertine is more absorbent than polished, so sealing helps guard against stains and grout haze.

Can I use it on a shower floor?

It works as a sealed bath wall tile. Shower floor suitability is not confirmed for this tile, so check with us before you plan one.

Color, texture, finish, and overall character. Because natural stone varies piece to piece, one sample represents the material but can't show the full range of a lot. How Your Order Ships
In-stock orders leave our warehouse within 2–3 business days. Stone, porcelain, and mosaic ship on a pallet via scheduled LTL freight and arrive 2–10 business days after dispatch, depending on destination. You'll get tracking and the carrier's name by email the day it ships.

Freight Delivery — What to Expect

  • The carrier calls you first. Every freight delivery is by appointment. Expect a call or text to set a window before the truck is dispatched.
  • Curbside delivery. The driver unloads to the curb or driveway. Freight does not include carrying material indoors or into a garage — plan for a helper or a hand truck.
  • Someone 18+ must sign. Inspect the pallet before signing. Note any damage, shortage, or broken shrink-wrap on the delivery receipt — this is what makes a claim valid.
  • Truck access. The address must be accessible to a full-size freight truck with enough space to unload.

Free curbside freight on qualifying mosaic and molding orders over $1,999 in the continental U.S. Field tile, porcelain, and other product types ship at freight rates shown at checkout. Not available to Hawaii, Alaska, U.S. territories, or international addresses.

Damage & Shortages
Report within 3 calendar days of delivery with photos of the pallet, packaging, and affected pieces to sales@tileandmosaicdepot.com. Verified claims are covered. Shortages of 1–5 pieces are refunded rather than reshipped — which is why we recommend ordering 10% overage.

30-Day Returns
Uninstalled tile in full, unopened boxes may be returned within 30 days of delivery. Return freight is paid by the customer. Partial boxes, opened boxes, installed material, and samples are final sale.

Natural Variation
Quarried stone varies in color, veining, shade, movement, and finish from piece to piece and from lot to lot. Screen photos and samples show the range, not the exact tile you'll receive. Variation is the nature of the material and is never grounds for return. Porcelain is far more consistent, but shade and pattern can still shift between production runs — buy your full quantity in one order.

Before You Install

  • Order 10% overage. Covers cuts, breakage, and spares for future repairs. Reorders may not match in tone or lot.
  • Inspect every piece before setting. Pull from all boxes, blend, and dry-lay the full area. Installation is acceptance — no claims are honored once tile is set.
  • Hire a qualified installer. Natural stone and large-format porcelain require experience with the material. Your installer is responsible for substrate, setting materials, and method.

Sealing & Care
Natural stone should be sealed with a penetrating sealer and re-sealed periodically in wet and high-traffic areas. Clean with a pH-neutral stone cleaner only — vinegar, bleach, ammonia, and acidic cleaners etch marble, limestone, travertine, and onyx permanently. Porcelain does not require sealing. Outdoor stone weathers and shifts in tone over time; this is expected.
