Noce Travertine — the deepest, richest travertine color. Deep brown, chocolate, and walnut tones with low variation. Noce Travertine Mosaic2 × 2 Vein Cut, Brushed and Unfilled

Walnut-brown travertine in 2 × 2 chips, vein cut and brushed, with the stone's natural pores left open.

Noce travertine runs from walnut brown to caramel, with ivory, tan and rust through the grain. The vein cut shows the stone's layers as long, flowing bands that carry across the sheet.

Each 2 × 2 chip is brushed to a soft matte surface, and the natural pits and voids are left unfilled. The chips are mounted on mesh in a straight-set grid, which keeps joint spacing even. It suits indoor walls and accents.

Care & Cleaning

Seal It

Apply a penetrating stone sealer to all surfaces and into the natural voids before grouting and again after installation. The unfilled finish is absorbent, so cover it thoroughly. Re-seal wet areas every 12–18 months.

Clean It

Use a pH-neutral stone cleaner in warm water with a soft cloth or mop. A soft-bristle brush helps lift grime from the texture and grout joints. Avoid vinegar, citrus, bleach and abrasive scrubbers.

Expect This

Tone, vein pattern and the number of pits will differ from chip to chip and sheet to sheet. The open pores stay open, which is part of the rustic look.

Tile & Mosaic Depot supplies material only. Installation method, setting materials, and substrate are your installer's responsibility. Inspect every piece before setting; installation is acceptance, and installed material cannot be returned or claimed.

Are the holes in the stone filled?

You get the stone with its natural pits and voids left open, which gives the surface its raw, tactile look. Sealing the surface and the voids before grouting is recommended.

Can I use this mosaic on a floor?

Use it on indoor walls, backsplashes and accents, where the textured surface shows to best effect. The unfilled surface is not recommended for floors.

Does this travertine need sealing?

Seal it with a penetrating stone sealer before grouting and after installation. Travertine is porous, and the unfilled finish absorbs more, so thorough coverage helps protect it.

Samples are $7.99 each. Samples ship free and leave our warehouse within 1–3 business days. Sizes vary by material and availability — typically 3"×3" up to 8"×8" — and every sample is cut from the same material stocked for full orders.

What a Sample Shows
Color, texture, finish, and overall character. Because natural stone varies piece to piece, one sample represents the material but can't show the full range of a lot. Porcelain samples are highly representative of the production run. Want to see the current lot before you commit? Ask us — we'll send photos.

How Your Order Ships
In-stock orders leave our warehouse within 2–3 business days. Stone, porcelain, and mosaic ship on a pallet via scheduled LTL freight and arrive 2–10 business days after dispatch, depending on destination. You'll get tracking and the carrier's name by email the day it ships.

Freight Delivery — What to Expect

  • The carrier calls you first. Every freight delivery is by appointment. Expect a call or text to set a window before the truck is dispatched.
  • Curbside delivery. The driver unloads to the curb or driveway. Freight does not include carrying material indoors or into a garage — plan for a helper or a hand truck.
  • Someone 18+ must sign. Inspect the pallet before signing. Note any damage, shortage, or broken shrink-wrap on the delivery receipt — this is what makes a claim valid.
  • Truck access. The address must be accessible to a full-size freight truck with enough space to unload.

Free Shipping
Free curbside freight on qualifying mosaic and molding orders over $1,999 in the continental U.S. Field tile, porcelain, and other product types ship at freight rates shown at checkout. Not available to Hawaii, Alaska, U.S. territories, or international addresses.

Damage & Shortages
Report within 3 calendar days of delivery with photos of the pallet, packaging, and affected pieces to sales@tileandmosaicdepot.com. Verified claims are covered. Shortages of 1–5 pieces are refunded rather than reshipped — which is why we recommend ordering 10% overage.

30-Day Returns
Uninstalled tile in full, unopened boxes may be returned within 30 days of delivery. Return freight is paid by the customer. Partial boxes, opened boxes, installed material, and samples are final sale.

Natural Variation
Quarried stone varies in color, veining, shade, movement, and finish from piece to piece and from lot to lot. Screen photos and samples show the range, not the exact tile you'll receive. Variation is the nature of the material and is never grounds for return. Porcelain is far more consistent, but shade and pattern can still shift between production runs — buy your full quantity in one order.

Before You Install

  • Order 10% overage. Covers cuts, breakage, and spares for future repairs. Reorders may not match in tone or lot.
  • Inspect every piece before setting. Pull from all boxes, blend, and dry-lay the full area. Installation is acceptance — no claims are honored once tile is set.
  • Hire a qualified installer. Natural stone and large-format porcelain require experience with the material. Your installer is responsible for substrate, setting materials, and method.

Sealing & Care
Natural stone should be sealed with a penetrating sealer and re-sealed periodically in wet and high-traffic areas. Clean with a pH-neutral stone cleaner only — vinegar, bleach, ammonia, and acidic cleaners etch marble, limestone, travertine, and onyx permanently. Porcelain does not require sealing. Outdoor stone weathers and shifts in tone over time; this is expected.
