A warm walnut-and-amber travertine in 18 × 18, filled and honed, with a chiseled edge that softens every joint.

Noce is a warm travertine in walnut brown, golden amber and creamy taupe. The surface is honed to a soft matte and filled for a smooth, even face. A chiseled edge gives each tile a slightly irregular perimeter and a little relief at the grout joint.

The honed face deepens the stone's warm tones without the glare of a polish. The 18 × 18 format keeps grout lines to a minimum. Brass or bronze fixtures, dark wood and creamy cabinetry sit well beside it.

Travertine varies from tile to tile, and Noce is rated V3, moderate variation. Your sample comes from the lot we have in stock now, so it shows that lot's actual color range and finish. Care & Cleaning

Seal It

Apply a penetrating stone sealer before grouting and again after installation. Travertine is porous, and sealing helps guard against oils and moisture.

Clean It

Use a pH-neutral stone cleaner in warm water with a soft mop or cloth. Avoid vinegar, lemon-based products and bleach, which etch calcium-based stone. Blot spills promptly.

Expect This

Expect tonal shifts, natural texture and softly irregular chiseled edges from tile to tile. A white or beige thinset helps avoid shadowing through lighter areas.

Does this travertine need to be sealed?

Seal it with a penetrating stone sealer before grouting and again after installation. Honed travertine is porous, so regular resealing keeps stains from setting in.

How much should I order?

Each tile covers 2.25 sq ft, so divide your area by 2.25 and add 10% for cuts and waste. Ordering everything at once keeps the job in a single lot.

What does the chiseled edge look like?

Each tile has a softly irregular edge that adds texture and a little relief at the grout joint. Dry-lay a few tiles before setting to see how the edges meet.

What a Sample Shows
Color, texture, finish, and overall character. Because natural stone varies piece to piece, one sample represents the material but can't show the full range of a lot. How Your Order Ships
In-stock orders leave our warehouse within 2–3 business days. Stone, porcelain, and mosaic ship on a pallet via scheduled LTL freight and arrive 2–10 business days after dispatch, depending on destination. You'll get tracking and the carrier's name by email the day it ships.

Freight Delivery — What to Expect

  • The carrier calls you first. Every freight delivery is by appointment. Expect a call or text to set a window before the truck is dispatched.
  • Curbside delivery. The driver unloads to the curb or driveway. Freight does not include carrying material indoors or into a garage — plan for a helper or a hand truck.
  • Someone 18+ must sign. Inspect the pallet before signing. Note any damage, shortage, or broken shrink-wrap on the delivery receipt — this is what makes a claim valid.
  • Truck access. The address must be accessible to a full-size freight truck with enough space to unload.

Damage & Shortages
Report within 3 calendar days of delivery with photos of the pallet, packaging, and affected pieces to sales@tileandmosaicdepot.com. Verified claims are covered. Shortages of 1–5 pieces are refunded rather than reshipped — which is why we recommend ordering 10% overage.

30-Day Returns
Uninstalled tile in full, unopened boxes may be returned within 30 days of delivery. Return freight is paid by the customer. Partial boxes, opened boxes, installed material, and samples are final sale.

Natural Variation
Quarried stone varies in color, veining, shade, movement, and finish from piece to piece and from lot to lot. Screen photos and samples show the range, not the exact tile you'll receive. Variation is the nature of the material and is never grounds for return. Porcelain is far more consistent, but shade and pattern can still shift between production runs — buy your full quantity in one order.

Before You Install

  • Order 10% overage. Covers cuts, breakage, and spares for future repairs. Reorders may not match in tone or lot.
  • Inspect every piece before setting. Pull from all boxes, blend, and dry-lay the full area. Installation is acceptance — no claims are honored once tile is set.
  • Hire a qualified installer. Natural stone and large-format porcelain require experience with the material. Your installer is responsible for substrate, setting materials, and method.

Sealing & Care
Natural stone should be sealed with a penetrating sealer and re-sealed periodically in wet and high-traffic areas. Clean with a pH-neutral stone cleaner only — vinegar, bleach, ammonia, and acidic cleaners etch marble, limestone, travertine, and onyx permanently. Porcelain does not require sealing. Outdoor stone weathers and shifts in tone over time; this is expected.
