A honed green-grey limestone with warm taupe tones and pale fossil flecks, in a generous 16 × 24 format.

Seagrass Limestone reads as a soft green-grey with warm taupe and sandy undertones. Pale shell and fossil flecks run through the surface. The honed finish stays matte and low in glare.

The 16 × 24 format means fewer joints across a floor or wall. It sits well beside white oak, brushed brass and warm white paint. Samples are $7.99 each, up to 10 per order. Samples ship free and go out within 1-3 business days.

Care & Cleaning

Seal It

Seal with a penetrating stone sealer before installation. Limestone is porous, so reseal about once a year in damp areas and every 1–2 years in drier rooms.

Clean It

Use a pH-neutral stone cleaner and a soft mop or cloth. Avoid vinegar, citrus and other acidic cleaners, which can etch limestone. Wipe spills promptly.

Expect This

Expect tone shifts, fossil flecks and cloudy patches from tile to tile. Lay out tiles before setting and blend from several boxes. A white thinset and back-buttering help on a large format.

Tile & Mosaic Depot supplies material only. Installation method, setting materials, and substrate are your installer's responsibility. Inspect every piece before setting; installation is acceptance, and installed material cannot be returned or claimed.

Does this limestone need sealing?

Yes, and sealing protects it well. Apply a penetrating stone sealer before installation and reseal on a regular schedule. Limestone is porous and can etch, so keep acidic cleaners away from it.

How much does one tile cover?

Each 16 × 24 tile covers about 2.67 sq ft. This tile is sold per sq ft. Add 10% to your measured area for cuts and to keep everything in one lot.

Can I use it in a shower?

It works well on dry bathroom walls once sealed. Shower and wet-area floor use is not confirmed for this tile, so check with us before planning it for those spots.

How do I order a sample?

Add up to 10 samples to one order at $7.99 each. Samples ship free and go out within 1-3 business days. Viewing it in your own light is the best way to judge the color.

How It Works
Samples are $7.99 each. Samples ship free and leave our warehouse within 1–3 business days. Sizes vary by material and availability — typically 3"×3" up to 8"×8" — and every sample is cut from the same material stocked for full orders.

What a Sample Shows
Color, texture, finish, and overall character. Because natural stone varies piece to piece, one sample represents the material but can't show the full range of a lot. Porcelain samples are highly representative of the production run. Want to see the current lot before you commit? Ask us — we'll send photos.

How Your Order Ships
In-stock orders leave our warehouse within 2–3 business days. Stone, porcelain, and mosaic ship on a pallet via scheduled LTL freight and arrive 2–10 business days after dispatch, depending on destination. You'll get tracking and the carrier's name by email the day it ships.

Freight Delivery — What to Expect

  • The carrier calls you first. Every freight delivery is by appointment. Expect a call or text to set a window before the truck is dispatched.
  • Curbside delivery. The driver unloads to the curb or driveway. Freight does not include carrying material indoors or into a garage — plan for a helper or a hand truck.
  • Someone 18+ must sign. Inspect the pallet before signing. Note any damage, shortage, or broken shrink-wrap on the delivery receipt — this is what makes a claim valid.
  • Truck access. The address must be accessible to a full-size freight truck with enough space to unload.

Free curbside freight on qualifying mosaic and molding orders over $1,999 in the continental U.S. Field tile, porcelain, and other product types ship at freight rates shown at checkout. Not available to Hawaii, Alaska, U.S. territories, or international addresses.

Damage & Shortages
Report within 3 calendar days of delivery with photos of the pallet, packaging, and affected pieces to sales@tileandmosaicdepot.com. Verified claims are covered. Shortages of 1–5 pieces are refunded rather than reshipped — which is why we recommend ordering 10% overage.

30-Day Returns
Uninstalled tile in full, unopened boxes may be returned within 30 days of delivery. Return freight is paid by the customer. Partial boxes, opened boxes, installed material, and samples are final sale.

Natural Variation
Quarried stone varies in color, veining, shade, movement, and finish from piece to piece and from lot to lot. Screen photos and samples show the range, not the exact tile you'll receive. Variation is the nature of the material and is never grounds for return. Porcelain is far more consistent, but shade and pattern can still shift between production runs — buy your full quantity in one order.

Before You Install

  • Order 10% overage. Covers cuts, breakage, and spares for future repairs. Reorders may not match in tone or lot.
  • Inspect every piece before setting. Pull from all boxes, blend, and dry-lay the full area. Installation is acceptance — no claims are honored once tile is set.
  • Hire a qualified installer. Natural stone and large-format porcelain require experience with the material. Your installer is responsible for substrate, setting materials, and method.

Sealing & Care
Natural stone should be sealed with a penetrating sealer and re-sealed periodically in wet and high-traffic areas. Clean with a pH-neutral stone cleaner only — vinegar, bleach, ammonia, and acidic cleaners etch marble, limestone, travertine, and onyx permanently. Porcelain does not require sealing. Outdoor stone weathers and shifts in tone over time; this is expected.
