Sealing: Glass tile is non-porous and does not require sealing. However, grout joints in pool applications should be filled with a pool-rated, epoxy grout specifically formulated for submerged and chemical-exposure environments — standard cement grout is not recommended for pool interiors.

Cleaning: Clean with a pH-neutral tile cleaner or a diluted pool-safe solution. Avoid acidic or abrasive cleaners that can etch or scratch the polished glass surface. For routine pool maintenance, standard pool chemistry management is sufficient to keep tile surfaces clear and bright.

Installation: Install using a white polymer-modified thinset rated for glass tile and pool submersion; gray thinset can show through translucent chips and alter the color appearance. Align mesh sheets carefully to maintain consistent joint spacing, and use non-sanded epoxy grout for the narrow 1×2 mosaic joints to ensure water-tightness and chemical resistance in pool environments. Back-butter each sheet lightly in addition to the substrate for full adhesive coverage.

Important: Inspect all tile before installation. Variations in color, veining, and texture between pieces are natural characteristics of genuine stone — not defects. Color, veining, texture, shade, movement, finish, and sizing vary from piece to piece. Product photos and samples are a general reference and may not match the exact material you receive. These variations are inherent characteristics of natural stone — they are part of its beauty, not defects.

Before You Install

Order roughly 10% extra to allow for cuts, waste, and future repairs.
Blend tiles from multiple boxes as you work to achieve the most natural, balanced appearance.
Dry-lay and inspect the full layout before setting a single tile.
Installation constitutes full acceptance of the product, so review everything carefully first.

Sealing & Care
Natural stone should be sealed with a quality penetrating sealer before and after installation, and re-sealed periodically in wet or high-traffic areas. Clean only with a pH-neutral stone cleaner; avoid acidic products, bleach, vinegar, and ammonia, which can permanently etch the surface. Outdoor installations may weather or change tone over time with exposure.
