Sealing: Vitreous glass tile is non-porous and does not require sealing. However, grout joints in pool environments should be sealed with a pool-grade, waterproof grout sealer and inspected annually, especially in areas exposed to pool chemicals and freeze-thaw cycles.

Cleaning: Clean with a pH-neutral tile cleaner or a diluted solution of mild dish soap and water. Avoid abrasive scrubbers that can scratch the glass surface. For pool-scale mineral deposits or calcium buildup, use a non-acidic calcium remover specifically formulated for glass tile — never use muriatic acid directly on glass tile surfaces.

Installation: Use a white polymer-modified thinset or a pool-grade epoxy adhesive for full submersion applications — standard gray thinset can show through the semi-translucent glass and alter the color appearance. Align mesh sheets carefully to maintain consistent joint spacing. Non-sanded grout is recommended for the 1/16" joints typical of this chip size; in pool environments, consider a epoxy or urethane grout for superior chemical and water resistance. Back-butter each sheet for full coverage adhesion on pool walls and floors.

Important: Inspect all tile before installation. Variations in color, veining, and texture between pieces are natural characteristics of genuine stone — not defects. Color, veining, texture, shade, movement, finish, and sizing vary from piece to piece. Product photos and samples are a general reference and may not match the exact material you receive. These variations are inherent characteristics of natural stone — they are part of its beauty, not defects.

Before You Install

Order roughly 10% extra to allow for cuts, waste, and future repairs.
Blend tiles from multiple boxes as you work to achieve the most natural, balanced appearance.
Dry-lay and inspect the full layout before setting a single tile.
Installation constitutes full acceptance of the product, so review everything carefully first.

Sealing & Care
Natural stone should be sealed with a quality penetrating sealer before and after installation, and re-sealed periodically in wet or high-traffic areas. Clean only with a pH-neutral stone cleaner; avoid acidic products, bleach, vinegar, and ammonia, which can permanently etch the surface. Outdoor installations may weather or change tone over time with exposure.
