Honey, amber and cream tones across a softly tumbled 12×12 face, with the natural voids and pitting that mark travertine.

Gold Travertine runs from honey and caramel to amber and cream, with soft linear veining and open pores across the face. The tumbled finish rounds the edges and leaves the surface matte and slightly uneven, with an aged, softened look.

The square 12×12 format works on floors and walls, laid straight or offset. Softened edges make grout lines read lightly. The warm color sits well beside brushed brass, iron, warm oak cabinetry and terracotta.

Expect moderate shade variation from tile to tile. Samples are $7.99 each, up to 10 per order. Samples ship free, within 1-3 business days. Care & Cleaning

Seal It

Travertine is porous. Apply a penetrating impregnating sealer before grouting and again after installation. Reseal as the stone needs it, more often in wet areas. Light color shows stains readily.

Clean It

Use a pH-neutral stone cleaner or mild dish soap in warm water. Avoid vinegar, lemon juice, bleach and other acidic or harsh cleaners, which can etch the surface.

Expect This

Natural voids, pitting and veining are part of the stone. Shade and texture vary from tile to tile, and tumbled edges are softly rounded rather than sharp.

Tile & Mosaic Depot supplies material only. Installation method, setting materials, and substrate are your installer's responsibility. Inspect every piece before setting; installation is acceptance, and installed material cannot be returned or claimed.

Sealing keeps the stone cleaner and easier to maintain. Apply a penetrating sealer before grouting and again after installation. Reseal on a schedule that suits the room.

Where can I use this tile?

It suits indoor floors and walls, such as bathrooms, entryways, backsplashes and feature walls. For shower floors or outdoor use, confirm your conditions with us first, since sealing and climate both matter.

How much should I order?

Measure your area in square feet and add 10% for cuts and waste. Each 12×12 piece covers 1 sq ft, and the tile is sold per sq ft.

Samples are $7.99 each. Samples ship free and leave our warehouse within 1–3 business days. Sizes vary by material and availability — typically 3"×3" up to 8"×8" — and every sample is cut from the same material stocked for full orders.

What a Sample Shows
Color, texture, finish, and overall character. Because natural stone varies piece to piece, one sample represents the material but can't show the full range of a lot. Porcelain samples are highly representative of the production run. Want to see the current lot before you commit? Ask us — we'll send photos.

How Your Order Ships
In-stock orders leave our warehouse within 2–3 business days. Stone, porcelain, and mosaic ship on a pallet via scheduled LTL freight and arrive 2–10 business days after dispatch, depending on destination. You'll get tracking and the carrier's name by email the day it ships.

Freight Delivery — What to Expect

  • The carrier calls you first. Every freight delivery is by appointment. Expect a call or text to set a window before the truck is dispatched.
  • Curbside delivery. The driver unloads to the curb or driveway. Freight does not include carrying material indoors or into a garage — plan for a helper or a hand truck.
  • Someone 18+ must sign. Inspect the pallet before signing. Note any damage, shortage, or broken shrink-wrap on the delivery receipt — this is what makes a claim valid.
  • Truck access. The address must be accessible to a full-size freight truck with enough space to unload.

Free curbside freight on qualifying mosaic and molding orders over $1,999 in the continental U.S. Field tile, porcelain, and other product types ship at freight rates shown at checkout. Not available to Hawaii, Alaska, U.S. territories, or international addresses.

Damage & Shortages
Report within 3 calendar days of delivery with photos of the pallet, packaging, and affected pieces to sales@tileandmosaicdepot.com. Verified claims are covered. Shortages of 1–5 pieces are refunded rather than reshipped — which is why we recommend ordering 10% overage.

30-Day Returns
Uninstalled tile in full, unopened boxes may be returned within 30 days of delivery. Return freight is paid by the customer. Partial boxes, opened boxes, installed material, and samples are final sale.

Natural Variation
Quarried stone varies in color, veining, shade, movement, and finish from piece to piece and from lot to lot. Screen photos and samples show the range, not the exact tile you'll receive. Variation is the nature of the material and is never grounds for return. Porcelain is far more consistent, but shade and pattern can still shift between production runs — buy your full quantity in one order.

Before You Install

  • Order 10% overage. Covers cuts, breakage, and spares for future repairs. Reorders may not match in tone or lot.
  • Inspect every piece before setting. Pull from all boxes, blend, and dry-lay the full area. Installation is acceptance — no claims are honored once tile is set.
  • Hire a qualified installer. Natural stone and large-format porcelain require experience with the material. Your installer is responsible for substrate, setting materials, and method.

Sealing & Care
Natural stone should be sealed with a penetrating sealer and re-sealed periodically in wet and high-traffic areas. Clean with a pH-neutral stone cleaner only — vinegar, bleach, ammonia, and acidic cleaners etch marble, limestone, travertine, and onyx permanently. Porcelain does not require sealing. Outdoor stone weathers and shifts in tone over time; this is expected.
