Sealing: Silver Travertine's porous, unfilled split-face surface requires thorough sealing with a penetrating impregnating sealer before installation and annually thereafter, or more frequently in high-moisture exterior environments. Apply sealer generously to ensure full penetration into the deeply textured cleft surface, paying special attention to crevices and natural pits.

Cleaning: Clean with a pH-neutral stone cleaner and a soft-bristle brush to reach into the textured surface; never use acidic cleaners, vinegar, citrus-based products, or abrasive scrubbers, as these will etch and degrade the natural stone over time. For outdoor panels, rinse with low-pressure water and allow to dry fully before reapplying sealer as needed.

Installation: Use a polymer-modified gray or silver thinset mortar to complement the stone's cool tones, and back-butter each panel generously to ensure full adhesion on the textured rear surface. Corner panels should be installed in alternating courses with the flat ledger panels to create a realistic, interlocking stacked-stone appearance — dry-fit all panels before committing to adhesive to confirm pattern alignment. Order roughly 10% extra to allow for cuts, waste, and future repairs.

Sealing & Care
Natural stone should be sealed with a quality penetrating sealer before and after installation, and re-sealed periodically in wet or high-traffic areas. Clean only with a pH-neutral stone cleaner; avoid acidic products, bleach, vinegar, and ammonia, which can permanently etch the surface. Outdoor installations may weather or change tone over time with exposure.
