Cool silver-grey travertine, split into slim, rugged strips and stacked on a mesh backing for walls with real depth.

Silver Travertine pairs a cool silver-grey with soft beige, taupe and charcoal shifts. The split-face finish leaves a rough, pitted, three-dimensional surface that throws shadow lines across the wall as the light changes.

Each 6 × 24 panel holds several slim strips stacked in a horizontal pattern on a mesh backing. The linear courses are already set, so there is less alignment work than with loose pieces. Best on dry interior walls and fireplace surrounds.

Shade variation is V4, so expect a wide range of tone from panel to panel. Samples are $7.99 each, up to 10 per order. Samples ship free, within 1-3 business days. Care & Cleaning

Seal It

Seal before installation with a penetrating impregnating sealer, working it into all crevices. Reseal at least once a year.

Clean It

Use a pH-neutral stone cleaner and a soft-bristle brush to reach the textured surface. Avoid acidic cleaners, vinegar, citrus products and bleach, which can etch the stone.

Expect This

The pitted, split-face surface absorbs moisture and stains readily, and tone and pit density change from panel to panel. This is part of natural travertine.

Tile & Mosaic Depot supplies material only. Installation method, setting materials, and substrate are your installer's responsibility. Inspect every piece before setting; installation is acceptance, and installed material cannot be returned or claimed.

Does this panel need sealing?

Seal it before installation and reseal at least once a year with a penetrating impregnating sealer. Work the sealer into all the crevices of the split-face surface, since the pitted stone absorbs moisture and stains readily.

Where can I use it?

Use it on dry interior walls, such as fireplace surrounds and feature walls. Floors and shower walls are better suited to other tile, because the uneven, pitted surface is not made for foot traffic or direct water spray.

How much tone variation should I expect?

You get a wide, natural range of silver-grey, beige, taupe and charcoal, with variation rated V4 (heavy). Laying out panels from several boxes while you install helps blend the tones across the wall.

Samples are $7.99 each. Samples ship free and leave our warehouse within 1–3 business days. Sizes vary by material and availability — typically 3"×3" up to 8"×8" — and every sample is cut from the same material stocked for full orders.

What a Sample Shows
Color, texture, finish, and overall character. Because natural stone varies piece to piece, one sample represents the material but can't show the full range of a lot. Porcelain samples are highly representative of the production run. Want to see the current lot before you commit? Ask us — we'll send photos.

How Your Order Ships
In-stock orders leave our warehouse within 2–3 business days. Stone, porcelain, and mosaic ship on a pallet via scheduled LTL freight and arrive 2–10 business days after dispatch, depending on destination. You'll get tracking and the carrier's name by email the day it ships.

Freight Delivery — What to Expect

  • The carrier calls you first. Every freight delivery is by appointment. Expect a call or text to set a window before the truck is dispatched.
  • Curbside delivery. The driver unloads to the curb or driveway. Freight does not include carrying material indoors or into a garage — plan for a helper or a hand truck.
  • Someone 18+ must sign. Inspect the pallet before signing. Note any damage, shortage, or broken shrink-wrap on the delivery receipt — this is what makes a claim valid.
  • Truck access. The address must be accessible to a full-size freight truck with enough space to unload.

Free curbside freight on qualifying mosaic and molding orders over $1,999 in the continental U.S. Field tile, porcelain, and other product types ship at freight rates shown at checkout. Not available to Hawaii, Alaska, U.S. territories, or international addresses.

Damage & Shortages
Report within 3 calendar days of delivery with photos of the pallet, packaging, and affected pieces to sales@tileandmosaicdepot.com. Verified claims are covered. Shortages of 1–5 pieces are refunded rather than reshipped — which is why we recommend ordering 10% overage.

30-Day Returns
Uninstalled tile in full, unopened boxes may be returned within 30 days of delivery. Return freight is paid by the customer. Partial boxes, opened boxes, installed material, and samples are final sale.

Natural Variation
Quarried stone varies in color, veining, shade, movement, and finish from piece to piece and from lot to lot. Screen photos and samples show the range, not the exact tile you'll receive. Variation is the nature of the material and is never grounds for return. Porcelain is far more consistent, but shade and pattern can still shift between production runs — buy your full quantity in one order.

Before You Install

  • Order 10% overage. Covers cuts, breakage, and spares for future repairs. Reorders may not match in tone or lot.
  • Inspect every piece before setting. Pull from all boxes, blend, and dry-lay the full area. Installation is acceptance — no claims are honored once tile is set.
  • Hire a qualified installer. Natural stone and large-format porcelain require experience with the material. Your installer is responsible for substrate, setting materials, and method.

Sealing & Care
Natural stone should be sealed with a penetrating sealer and re-sealed periodically in wet and high-traffic areas. Clean with a pH-neutral stone cleaner only — vinegar, bleach, ammonia, and acidic cleaners etch marble, limestone, travertine, and onyx permanently. Porcelain does not require sealing. Outdoor stone weathers and shifts in tone over time; this is expected.
