Sealing: Seal all split-face marble panels with a penetrating impregnating sealer before grouting and installation, paying special attention to the deep crevices and raw cleft surfaces where moisture can penetrate. Reapply sealer annually for exterior applications and every 1–2 years for interior walls; the porous, textured surface absorbs more sealer than polished marble and benefits from a second coat applied within the same session.

Cleaning: Clean with a pH-neutral stone cleaner and a stiff-bristle brush to reach into the recessed relief of the split-face texture — avoid acidic cleaners, vinegar, citrus-based products, or bleach, which will etch and discolor the stone. Rinse thoroughly with clean water and allow panels to dry fully; avoid high-pressure washing on interior walls, though a gentle rinse is acceptable for exterior cladding.

Installation: Use white polymer-modified thinset mortar to prevent gray bleed-through on the pale stone — back-butter each panel generously to ensure full adhesion behind the irregular split surface and eliminate voids. Stagger vertical joints between rows for a natural stacked appearance, use a rubber mallet to press panels firmly into the mortar, and align mesh edges tightly for seamless transitions. For exterior applications, use a frost-rated thinset and ensure the substrate is waterproofed; unsanded or wide-joint grout can be used to fill gaps, or panels can be installed dry-stack style on interior walls.

Before You Install

Order roughly 10% extra to allow for cuts, waste, and future repairs.
Blend tiles from multiple boxes as you work to achieve the most natural, balanced appearance.
Dry-lay and inspect the full layout before setting a single tile.
Installation constitutes full acceptance of the product, so review everything carefully first.

Sealing & Care
Natural stone should be sealed with a quality penetrating sealer before and after installation, and re-sealed periodically in wet or high-traffic areas. Clean only with a pH-neutral stone cleaner; avoid acidic products, bleach, vinegar, and ammonia, which can permanently etch the surface. Outdoor installations may weather or change tone over time with exposure.
