A creamy ivory travertine in a long 16 × 24 format, filled and honed to a soft matte finish.

Ivory Travertine runs from pale cream to warm beige, with soft pitting and cloudy, linear movement across each face. The voids are filled and the surface is honed, so the finish reads matte and quiet rather than glossy.

The 16 × 24 format brings fewer grout joints than a small square tile, which lets the stone's pattern carry across the surface. It suits indoor floors and walls. Honed travertine is porous and can etch, so plan on sealing and gentle cleaners.

Care & Cleaning

Seal It

Apply a penetrating stone sealer before grouting, then reseal as needed. Pale travertine shows stains more readily, so keep the sealer current.

Clean It

Use a pH-neutral stone cleaner, warm water, and a soft mop or cloth. Skip vinegar, citrus, and other acidic cleaners, which can etch the honed surface.

Expect This

Color, pitting, and veining shift from tile to tile. Honed travertine can etch or stain over time, so wipe up wine, juice, and coffee promptly.

How many tiles do I need?

Each 16 × 24 tile covers 2.67 sq ft. Divide your room's square footage by that number, then add 10% for cuts and waste. Order it all at once to keep one lot.

Does this travertine need sealing?

You can protect it with a penetrating stone sealer, and sealing is recommended. Apply it before grouting and reseal as needed. Pale, honed travertine stains more readily than a polished stone.

Can I use it in a shower or outdoors?

This listing is for indoor floors and walls, such as living areas, bath walls, and backsplashes. For showers, wet-area floors, or exterior use, please check with us before ordering.

What a Sample Shows
Color, texture, finish, and overall character. Because natural stone varies piece to piece, one sample represents the material but can't show the full range of a lot. Porcelain samples are highly representative of the production run. Want to see the current lot before you commit? Ask us — we'll send photos.

How Your Order Ships
In-stock orders leave our warehouse within 2–3 business days. Stone, porcelain, and mosaic ship on a pallet via scheduled LTL freight and arrive 2–10 business days after dispatch, depending on destination. You'll get tracking and the carrier's name by email the day it ships.

Freight Delivery — What to Expect

The carrier calls you first. Every freight delivery is by appointment. Expect a call or text to set a window before the truck is dispatched.
Curbside delivery. The driver unloads to the curb or driveway. Freight does not include carrying material indoors or into a garage — plan for a helper or a hand truck.
Someone 18+ must sign. Inspect the pallet before signing. Note any damage, shortage, or broken shrink-wrap on the delivery receipt — this is what makes a claim valid.
Truck access. The address must be accessible to a full-size freight truck with enough space to unload.

Free curbside freight on qualifying mosaic and molding orders over $1,999 in the continental U.S. Field tile, porcelain, and other product types ship at freight rates shown at checkout. Not available to Hawaii, Alaska, U.S. territories, or international addresses.

Damage & Shortages
Report within 3 calendar days of delivery with photos of the pallet, packaging, and affected pieces to sales@tileandmosaicdepot.com. Verified claims are covered. Shortages of 1–5 pieces are refunded rather than reshipped — which is why we recommend ordering 10% overage.

30-Day Returns
Uninstalled tile in full, unopened boxes may be returned within 30 days of delivery. Return freight is paid by the customer. Partial boxes, opened boxes, installed material, and samples are final sale.

Natural Variation
Quarried stone varies in color, veining, shade, movement, and finish from piece to piece and from lot to lot. Screen photos and samples show the range, not the exact tile you'll receive. Variation is the nature of the material and is never grounds for return. Porcelain is far more consistent, but shade and pattern can still shift between production runs — buy your full quantity in one order.

Before You Install

Order 10% overage. Covers cuts, breakage, and spares for future repairs. Reorders may not match in tone or lot.
Inspect every piece before setting. Pull from all boxes, blend, and dry-lay the full area. Installation is acceptance — no claims are honored once tile is set.
Hire a qualified installer. Natural stone and large-format porcelain require experience with the material. Your installer is responsible for substrate, setting materials, and method.

Sealing & Care
Natural stone should be sealed with a penetrating sealer and re-sealed periodically in wet and high-traffic areas. Clean with a pH-neutral stone cleaner only — vinegar, bleach, ammonia, and acidic cleaners etch marble, limestone, travertine, and onyx permanently. Porcelain does not require sealing. Outdoor stone weathers and shifts in tone over time; this is expected.
