Cream and ivory travertine strips, stacked in a staggered pattern, give walls a split-face surface with real depth and shadow.

Warm cream and ivory, with amber and beige running through the strips. Each 6 × 24 panel holds stacked pieces in a staggered linear pattern on a backing. The split face leaves the travertine rough and pitted, so light and shadow do the work.

Because the strips arrive pre-assembled, a wall goes up faster than it would piece by piece. One panel covers 1 sq ft. Expect natural pitting and moderate color shifts from strip to strip. That variation is part of the look.

Care & Cleaning

Seal It

Travertine is porous. Apply a penetrating impregnating sealer to all surfaces and edges before grouting, then reseal periodically. In dry interiors, every 2-3 years is typically enough.

Clean It

Use a pH-neutral stone cleaner diluted in water with a soft brush or cloth. The brush clears dust from the crevices. Avoid acidic cleaners, vinegar, citrus products and bleach, which etch the stone.

Expect This

Natural pitting, color shifts and texture changes from strip to strip. Order your full quantity plus 10% at once to allow for cuts and keep the job in one lot.

Tile & Mosaic Depot supplies material only. Installation method, setting materials, and substrate are your installer's responsibility. Inspect every piece before setting; installation is acceptance, and installed material cannot be returned or claimed.

How much does one panel cover?

Each 6 × 24 panel covers 1 sq ft. Add 10% to your total for cuts and waste, and buy it all at once so the panels come from one lot.

Do these panels need sealing?

Yes, and the sealer protects the stone as well. Apply a penetrating impregnating sealer to all surfaces and edges before grouting. Reseal periodically, about every 2-3 years in dry interiors.

Can I use them outdoors?

The panels are listed for interior and exterior walls. For an outdoor wall, confirm your climate and installation method with your installer before ordering.

Can I use them on a floor?

Use them on walls, where the split-face relief looks best. The surface is uneven underfoot, so floors are not recommended.

Samples are $7.99 each. Samples ship free and leave our warehouse within 1–3 business days. Sizes vary by material and availability — typically 3"×3" up to 8"×8" — and every sample is cut from the same material stocked for full orders.

What a Sample Shows
Color, texture, finish, and overall character. Because natural stone varies piece to piece, one sample represents the material but can't show the full range of a lot. Porcelain samples are highly representative of the production run. Want to see the current lot before you commit? Ask us — we'll send photos.

How Your Order Ships
In-stock orders leave our warehouse within 2–3 business days. Stone, porcelain, and mosaic ship on a pallet via scheduled LTL freight and arrive 2–10 business days after dispatch, depending on destination. You'll get tracking and the carrier's name by email the day it ships.

Freight Delivery — What to Expect

  • The carrier calls you first. Every freight delivery is by appointment. Expect a call or text to set a window before the truck is dispatched.
  • Curbside delivery. The driver unloads to the curb or driveway. Freight does not include carrying material indoors or into a garage — plan for a helper or a hand truck.
  • Someone 18+ must sign. Inspect the pallet before signing. Note any damage, shortage, or broken shrink-wrap on the delivery receipt — this is what makes a claim valid.
  • Truck access. The address must be accessible to a full-size freight truck with enough space to unload.

Free Shipping
Free curbside freight on qualifying mosaic and molding orders over $1,999 in the continental U.S. Field tile, porcelain, and other product types ship at freight rates shown at checkout. Not available to Hawaii, Alaska, U.S. territories, or international addresses.

Damage & Shortages
Report within 3 calendar days of delivery with photos of the pallet, packaging, and affected pieces to sales@tileandmosaicdepot.com. Verified claims are covered. Shortages of 1–5 pieces are refunded rather than reshipped — which is why we recommend ordering 10% overage.

30-Day Returns
Uninstalled tile in full, unopened boxes may be returned within 30 days of delivery. Return freight is paid by the customer. Partial boxes, opened boxes, installed material, and samples are final sale.

Natural Variation
Quarried stone varies in color, veining, shade, movement, and finish from piece to piece and from lot to lot. Screen photos and samples show the range, not the exact tile you'll receive. Variation is the nature of the material and is never grounds for return. Porcelain is far more consistent, but shade and pattern can still shift between production runs — buy your full quantity in one order.

Before You Install

  • Order 10% overage. Covers cuts, breakage, and spares for future repairs. Reorders may not match in tone or lot.
  • Inspect every piece before setting. Pull from all boxes, blend, and dry-lay the full area. Installation is acceptance — no claims are honored once tile is set.
  • Hire a qualified installer. Natural stone and large-format porcelain require experience with the material. Your installer is responsible for substrate, setting materials, and method.

Sealing & Care
Natural stone should be sealed with a penetrating sealer and re-sealed periodically in wet and high-traffic areas. Clean with a pH-neutral stone cleaner only — vinegar, bleach, ammonia, and acidic cleaners etch marble, limestone, travertine, and onyx permanently. Porcelain does not require sealing. Outdoor stone weathers and shifts in tone over time; this is expected.
