Gascogne Beige Limestone24 × 24 Honed

A fine-grained, warm beige limestone with a smooth honed surface and small fossil flecks, in a 24 × 24 format.

Gascogne Beige reads as a soft taupe-beige with cream and honey shifts. Small shell fragments and pale flecks sit in a tight, fine-grained surface. Fine hairline veins cross some tiles. The honed finish is smooth and matte, with no glare.

At 24 × 24, each tile covers 4 sq ft, so a floor or wall has fewer grout lines. The quiet tone suits white oak, brushed brass and matte black. Limestone is a natural stone, so sealing is recommended.

Care & Cleaning

Seal It

Apply a penetrating stone sealer before grouting and again after installation. The light beige tone can show oil and water-based stains.

Clean It

Use a pH-neutral stone cleaner with warm water and a soft mop or cloth. Avoid vinegar, lemon products and other acids, which can etch a honed surface. Blot spills quickly.

Expect This

Tone, fossil content and grain density vary from tile to tile. Some tiles carry fine hairline veins. Plan the layout from several boxes at once.

Tile & Mosaic Depot supplies material only. Installation method, setting materials, and substrate are your installer's responsibility. Inspect every piece before setting; installation is acceptance, and installed material cannot be returned or claimed.

How much should I order?

Order your measured square footage plus 10% for cuts and waste. Each 24 × 24 tile covers 4 sq ft, and it is sold per sq ft. Ordering everything at once keeps the job in one lot.

How do I order a sample?

Add up to 10 samples to your order at $7.99 each. Samples ship free and go out within 1-3 business days. Viewing it in your own light is the best way to judge the tone.

Does this tile need sealing?

Seal it with a penetrating stone sealer before grouting and again after installation. This helps protect the light beige surface from stains. Clean it with a pH-neutral stone cleaner.

Can I use it outdoors?

Use it indoors on floors and walls, which is how it is listed. We have not confirmed it for exterior use, so please ask us before planning an outdoor project.

Samples are $7.99 each. Samples ship free and leave our warehouse within 1–3 business days. Sizes vary by material and availability — typically 3"×3" up to 8"×8" — and every sample is cut from the same material stocked for full orders.

What a Sample Shows
Color, texture, finish, and overall character. Because natural stone varies piece to piece, one sample represents the material but can't show the full range of a lot. Porcelain samples are highly representative of the production run. Want to see the current lot before you commit? Ask us — we'll send photos.

How Your Order Ships
In-stock orders leave our warehouse within 2–3 business days. Stone, porcelain, and mosaic ship on a pallet via scheduled LTL freight and arrive 2–10 business days after dispatch, depending on destination. You'll get tracking and the carrier's name by email the day it ships.

Freight Delivery — What to Expect

  • The carrier calls you first. Every freight delivery is by appointment. Expect a call or text to set a window before the truck is dispatched.
  • Curbside delivery. The driver unloads to the curb or driveway. Freight does not include carrying material indoors or into a garage — plan for a helper or a hand truck.
  • Someone 18+ must sign. Inspect the pallet before signing. Note any damage, shortage, or broken shrink-wrap on the delivery receipt — this is what makes a claim valid.
  • Truck access. The address must be accessible to a full-size freight truck with enough space to unload.

Free Shipping
Free curbside freight on qualifying mosaic and molding orders over $1,999 in the continental U.S. Field tile, porcelain, and other product types ship at freight rates shown at checkout. Not available to Hawaii, Alaska, U.S. territories, or international addresses.

Damage & Shortages
Report within 3 calendar days of delivery with photos of the pallet, packaging, and affected pieces to sales@tileandmosaicdepot.com. Verified claims are covered. Shortages of 1–5 pieces are refunded rather than reshipped — which is why we recommend ordering 10% overage.

30-Day Returns
Uninstalled tile in full, unopened boxes may be returned within 30 days of delivery. Return freight is paid by the customer. Partial boxes, opened boxes, installed material, and samples are final sale.

Natural Variation
Quarried stone varies in color, veining, shade, movement, and finish from piece to piece and from lot to lot. Screen photos and samples show the range, not the exact tile you'll receive. Variation is the nature of the material and is never grounds for return. Porcelain is far more consistent, but shade and pattern can still shift between production runs — buy your full quantity in one order.

Before You Install

  • Order 10% overage. Covers cuts, breakage, and spares for future repairs. Reorders may not match in tone or lot.
  • Inspect every piece before setting. Pull from all boxes, blend, and dry-lay the full area. Installation is acceptance — no claims are honored once tile is set.
  • Hire a qualified installer. Natural stone and large-format porcelain require experience with the material. Your installer is responsible for substrate, setting materials, and method.

Sealing & Care
Natural stone should be sealed with a penetrating sealer and re-sealed periodically in wet and high-traffic areas. Clean with a pH-neutral stone cleaner only — vinegar, bleach, ammonia, and acidic cleaners etch marble, limestone, travertine, and onyx permanently. Porcelain does not require sealing. Outdoor stone weathers and shifts in tone over time; this is expected.
