Crema Dolomiti is a distinguished European limestone prized for its warm ivory and creamy beige ground layered with fine, directional gray pinstripe veining. Its dolomitic composition gives it a slightly denser character than many limestones, translating to excellent durability and a refined, upscale appearance in residential and commercial settings.

This 12×24 tile features a pinstripe textured finish that highlights the stone's natural linear grain while providing a slightly raised surface profile for added traction and visual interest. The large format allows for fewer grout lines and a more seamless, flowing installation, making it especially effective in open showers, spa bathrooms, and expansive floor applications.

Sealing: Crema Dolomiti limestone must be sealed prior to installation and resealed every 12 months in wet or high-use areas such as showers and kitchen floors. Use a penetrating impregnator sealer formulated for porous natural stone to protect against staining and moisture absorption. The textured surface requires thorough sealer application to ensure full penetration across the relief.

Cleaning: Clean with a pH-neutral stone cleaner and a soft mop or cloth — never use acidic cleaners (vinegar, citrus), bleach, or abrasive scrubbing pads, as these will etch and degrade the limestone surface. Wipe up spills promptly, especially acidic liquids such as wine, coffee, or citrus juice. For the textured surface, a soft-bristle brush can help lift debris from surface relief without scratching.

Installation: Use a white polymer-modified thinset mortar to avoid color bleed-through on pale limestone. Back-butter each tile in addition to applying thinset to the substrate to achieve full coverage, especially important for large 12×24 format tiles. Install with a 1/16" to 1/8" grout joint using an unsanded or fine-sanded grout; align the directional pinstripe veining consistently across tiles for a cohesive, intentional flow. Allow full cure before exposing to water.

Important: Inspect all tile before installation. Variations in color, veining, and texture between pieces are natural characteristics of genuine stone — not defects. Freight Delivery

  • Curbside delivery. The carrier unloads at the curb or driveway nearest your address; delivery does not include moving materials indoors or into a garage.

Natural Variation
Color, veining, texture, shade, movement, finish, and sizing vary from piece to piece. Product photos and samples are a general reference and may not match the exact material you receive. These variations are inherent characteristics of natural stone — they are part of its beauty, not defects.

Before You Install

  • Order roughly 10% extra to allow for cuts, waste, and future repairs.
  • Blend tiles from multiple boxes as you work to achieve the most natural, balanced appearance.
  • Dry-lay and inspect the full layout before setting a single tile.
  • Installation constitutes full acceptance of the product, so review everything carefully first.

Sealing & Care
Natural stone should be sealed with a quality penetrating sealer before and after installation, and re-sealed periodically in wet or high-traffic areas. Clean only with a pH-neutral stone cleaner; avoid acidic products, bleach, vinegar, and ammonia, which can permanently etch the surface. Outdoor installations may weather or change tone over time with exposure.
