Sealing: Crema Dolomiti limestone is a porous natural stone that must be sealed prior to installation and re-sealed every 1–2 years, especially in wet or outdoor environments. Use a penetrating impregnating sealer formulated for limestone. The textured split face surface has increased surface area and will absorb more sealer — apply generously and allow full penetration.

Cleaning: Clean with a pH-neutral stone cleaner only — never use acidic cleaners, vinegar, citrus-based products, or bleach, as limestone is highly sensitive to acid etching. For the split face texture, use a soft brush or low-pressure rinse to remove dust and debris from the crevices. Avoid harsh scrubbing that can dislodge surface edges.

Installation: Install with a white or beige polymer-modified thinset mortar appropriate for natural stone. Back-butter each tile in addition to applying thinset to the substrate to ensure full coverage on the uneven split face surface. Use tile leveling clips where possible to manage the natural height variation between tiles. Allow adequate joint spacing and use a sanded grout in a complementary warm beige tone. For exterior installations, ensure the substrate is waterproofed and use a frost-resistant setting mortar in cold climates.

Important: Inspect all tile before installation. Variations in color, veining, and texture between pieces are natural characteristics of genuine stone — not defects. In-stock orders are processed within 2–3 business days. Most tile and stone orders ship via scheduled LTL freight and typically arrive 2–10 business days after dispatch, depending on your destination. You'll receive tracking and carrier details by email as soon as your order leaves our warehouse.

Freight Delivery

  • Curbside delivery. The carrier unloads at the curb or driveway nearest your address; delivery does not include moving materials indoors or into a garage.
  • Scheduled appointment. The freight company contacts you directly to arrange a delivery window.
  • Signature required. An adult (18+) must be present to inspect and sign for the shipment.

Natural Variation
Color, veining, texture, shade, movement, finish, and sizing vary from piece to piece. Product photos and samples are a general reference and may not match the exact material you receive. These variations are inherent characteristics of natural stone — they are part of its beauty, not defects.

Before You Install

  • Order roughly 10% extra to allow for cuts, waste, and future repairs.
  • Blend tiles from multiple boxes as you work to achieve the most natural, balanced appearance.
  • Dry-lay and inspect the full layout before setting a single tile.
  • Installation constitutes full acceptance of the product, so review everything carefully first.

Sealing & Care
Natural stone should be sealed with a quality penetrating sealer before and after installation, and re-sealed periodically in wet or high-traffic areas. Clean only with a pH-neutral stone cleaner; avoid acidic products, bleach, vinegar, and ammonia, which can permanently etch the surface. Outdoor installations may weather or change tone over time with exposure.
