Sealing: White Carrara marble is a porous stone and must be sealed before grouting and regularly thereafter. In wet areas such as showers, apply a penetrating stone sealer every 6–12 months to protect against moisture, staining, and soap residue penetration. The light color of Carrara makes it especially susceptible to staining, so do not skip or delay sealing.

Cleaning: Clean with a pH-neutral stone cleaner or mild dish soap diluted in warm water. Avoid acidic cleaners, vinegar, citrus-based products, or any abrasive scrubbers — these will etch the polished surface and permanently dull its sheen. Wipe up spills immediately, especially acidic substances like wine, coffee, or juice.

Installation: Use white polymer-modified thinset mortar to prevent any grey bleed-through behind the translucent white stone. Apply non-sanded grout for the tight 1/16-inch joints typical of 1×1 mosaics. Align mesh sheets carefully edge to edge for uniform joint spacing, and back-butter each sheet lightly for full adhesion coverage. Allow thinset to fully cure before grouting.

Important: Inspect all tile before installation. Variations in color, veining, and texture between pieces are natural characteristics of genuine stone — not defects. Color, veining, texture, shade, movement, finish, and sizing vary from piece to piece. Product photos and samples are a general reference and may not match the exact material you receive. These variations are inherent characteristics of natural stone — they are part of its beauty, not defects.

Before You Install

Order roughly 10% extra to allow for cuts, waste, and future repairs.
Blend tiles from multiple boxes as you work to achieve the most natural, balanced appearance.
Dry-lay and inspect the full layout before setting a single tile.
Installation constitutes full acceptance of the product, so review everything carefully first.

Sealing & Care
Natural stone should be sealed with a quality penetrating sealer before and after installation, and re-sealed periodically in wet or high-traffic areas. Clean only with a pH-neutral stone cleaner; avoid acidic products, bleach, vinegar, and ammonia, which can permanently etch the surface. Outdoor installations may weather or change tone over time with exposure.
