Sealing: White Carrara marble should be sealed with a penetrating stone sealer before grouting and immediately after installation. In wet areas such as showers and bathroom floors, re-seal every 6–12 months to prevent moisture penetration and staining. The light background of Carrara makes diligent sealing especially important to guard against oil, soap, and hard water marks.

Cleaning: Clean with a pH-neutral stone cleaner or a mild diluted dish soap and a soft cloth or mop. Never use vinegar, lemon juice, bleach, or any acidic or abrasive cleaners — the polished surface is particularly vulnerable to etching, which creates dull spots that are difficult to reverse without professional re-polishing. Wipe spills immediately, especially from coffee, wine, and citrus.

Installation: Use white polymer-modified thinset mortar to avoid any gray bleed-through on the light stone surface. Back-butter each tile in addition to applying thinset to the substrate for full coverage. For floor applications, ensure the subfloor is flat to within 1/8 inch over 10 feet to prevent lippage. Use unsanded or fine-sanded grout and a grout color that complements the stone's soft gray veining, such as a warm light gray or bright white.

Important: Inspect all tile before installation. Variations in color, veining, and texture between pieces are natural characteristics of genuine stone — not defects. Color, veining, texture, shade, movement, finish, and sizing vary from piece to piece. Product photos and samples are a general reference and may not match the exact material you receive. These variations are inherent characteristics of natural stone — they are part of its beauty, not defects.

Before You Install

Order roughly 10% extra to allow for cuts, waste, and future repairs.
Blend tiles from multiple boxes as you work to achieve the most natural, balanced appearance.
Dry-lay and inspect the full layout before setting a single tile.
Installation constitutes full acceptance of the product, so review everything carefully first.

Sealing & Care
Natural stone should be sealed with a quality penetrating sealer before and after installation, and re-sealed periodically in wet or high-traffic areas. Clean only with a pH-neutral stone cleaner; avoid acidic products, bleach, vinegar, and ammonia, which can permanently etch the surface. Outdoor installations may weather or change tone over time with exposure.
