Sealing: Carrara marble is a porous stone and must be sealed before grouting and use. Apply a penetrating stone sealer to all surfaces, including grout joints, prior to first use. In wet areas such as showers, reseal every 12 months to prevent moisture absorption and staining. For lighter-use installations like backsplashes, resealing every 2–3 years is typically sufficient.

Cleaning: Clean with a pH-neutral stone cleaner diluted in warm water and a soft microfiber cloth or mop. Avoid acidic cleaners, vinegar, citrus-based products, or anything containing bleach, as these will etch the marble surface and dull the honed finish permanently. Wipe up spills — especially wine, coffee, and citrus — immediately to prevent staining.

Installation: Use white polymer-modified thinset mortar to prevent any grey bleed-through on this pale stone. A non-sanded grout is recommended for the tight joints between 2×2 chips. Align mesh sheets carefully before setting to maintain consistent joint lines across the field. Allow thinset to cure fully before grouting, and always back-butter the mesh sheet for improved adhesion on wall installations.

Color, veining, texture, shade, movement, finish, and sizing vary from piece to piece. Product photos and samples are a general reference and may not match the exact material you receive. These variations are inherent characteristics of natural stone — they are part of its beauty, not defects.

Before You Install

Order roughly 10% extra to allow for cuts, waste, and future repairs.
Blend tiles from multiple boxes as you work to achieve the most natural, balanced appearance.
Dry-lay and inspect the full layout before setting a single tile.
Installation constitutes full acceptance of the product, so review everything carefully first.

Sealing & Care
Natural stone should be sealed with a quality penetrating sealer before and after installation, and re-sealed periodically in wet or high-traffic areas. Clean only with a pH-neutral stone cleaner; avoid acidic products, bleach, vinegar, and ammonia, which can permanently etch the surface. Outdoor installations may weather or change tone over time with exposure.
