Sealing: Seal with a penetrating, pH-neutral stone sealer before grouting and after installation. In wet areas such as showers and bathroom floors, reseal every 6–12 months to protect against moisture infiltration and staining. White Carrara is particularly susceptible to discoloration from oils and acidic substances, so thorough sealing is strongly recommended.

Cleaning: Clean with a pH-neutral stone cleaner and a soft cloth or mop. Avoid all acidic cleaners including vinegar, lemon-based products, and bleach, as these will etch the polished surface and leave dull spots. Wipe up spills — especially coffee, wine, and citrus — immediately to prevent staining and etching on the glossy finish.

Installation: Use white polymer-modified thinset mortar to prevent grey bleed-through on the light-colored stone. Apply non-sanded grout for the tight joints between hexagon chips. Press sheets firmly and use a grout float to ensure full coverage. Check mesh alignment sheet-to-sheet before the thinset sets to maintain consistent hex spacing across the field.

Before You Install

Order roughly 10% extra to allow for cuts, waste, and future repairs.
Blend tiles from multiple boxes as you work to achieve the most natural, balanced appearance.
Dry-lay and inspect the full layout before setting a single tile.
Installation constitutes full acceptance of the product, so review everything carefully first.

Sealing & Care
Natural stone should be sealed with a quality penetrating sealer before and after installation, and re-sealed periodically in wet or high-traffic areas. Clean only with a pH-neutral stone cleaner; avoid acidic products, bleach, vinegar, and ammonia, which can permanently etch the surface. Outdoor installations may weather or change tone over time with exposure.
