Sealing: White Carrara marble is porous and should be sealed with a penetrating stone sealer before grouting and upon installation. In wet areas such as showers, reapply sealer every 6–12 months to prevent moisture absorption and staining. The honed finish, while more forgiving than polished, still requires diligent sealing due to its slightly more open surface texture.

Cleaning: Clean with a pH-neutral stone cleaner or mild dish soap diluted in warm water — never use acidic cleaners such as vinegar, lemon-based products, or bleach, as these will etch and dull the honed surface. Wipe spills promptly, especially oils, wine, and coffee, to prevent staining on this light-colored stone. Avoid abrasive scrubbing pads that can scratch the smooth matte finish.

Installation: Use white polymer-modified thinset mortar to prevent grey adhesive from telegraphing through the light stone. Apply non-sanded grout for the narrow joints typical of mosaic installations. Back-butter each sheet lightly in addition to troweling the substrate to ensure full adhesion of the small chevron pieces. Check mesh alignment carefully between sheets to maintain the continuous chevron flow across the installation surface.

Before You Install

Order roughly 10% extra to allow for cuts, waste, and future repairs.
Blend tiles from multiple boxes as you work to achieve the most natural, balanced appearance.
Dry-lay and inspect the full layout before setting a single tile.
Installation constitutes full acceptance of the product, so review everything carefully first.

Sealing & Care
Natural stone should be sealed with a quality penetrating sealer before and after installation, and re-sealed periodically in wet or high-traffic areas. Clean only with a pH-neutral stone cleaner; avoid acidic products, bleach, vinegar, and ammonia, which can permanently etch the surface. Outdoor installations may weather or change tone over time with exposure.
