Sealing: Honed Carrara marble is more porous than polished marble and must be sealed before grouting and use. Apply a penetrating natural stone sealer prior to installation, and reseal every 6–12 months in wet areas such as showers and bathroom floors to prevent staining and moisture absorption. For lighter-use areas like backsplashes, annual sealing is typically sufficient.

Cleaning: Clean with a pH-neutral stone cleaner and a soft cloth or mop — never use vinegar, lemon juice, bleach, or abrasive scrubbers, as acids will etch the honed surface and dull its finish permanently. Wipe up spills promptly, especially oils, wine, and citrus, as the honed surface is more susceptible to staining than polished marble.

Installation: Use white polymer-modified thinset mortar to avoid any grey bleed-through on this pale stone. Lay full mesh sheets directly into thinset, pressing firmly to ensure full coverage behind each disc. Use non-sanded grout for the tight penny round joints (typically 1/16" to 1/8") to achieve a clean, smooth finish. Seal grout lines as well for added moisture protection in wet areas.

Important: Inspect all tile before installation. Variations in color, veining, and texture between pieces are natural characteristics of genuine stone — not defects. Before You Install

Order roughly 10% extra to allow for cuts, waste, and future repairs.
Blend tiles from multiple boxes as you work to achieve the most natural, balanced appearance.
Dry-lay and inspect the full layout before setting a single tile.
Installation constitutes full acceptance of the product, so review everything carefully first.

Sealing & Care
Natural stone should be sealed with a quality penetrating sealer before and after installation, and re-sealed periodically in wet or high-traffic areas. Clean only with a pH-neutral stone cleaner; avoid acidic products, bleach, vinegar, and ammonia, which can permanently etch the surface. Outdoor installations may weather or change tone over time with exposure.
