Sealing: Marmara marble is a relatively dense white stone but should be sealed with a penetrating stone sealer prior to installation and resealed every 12 months in dry areas and every 6 months in wet areas such as showers and bathroom floors. As a white/pale stone, prompt sealing is especially important to prevent staining from grout, soap, and minerals.

Cleaning: Clean with a pH-neutral stone cleaner and a soft cloth or mop — never use vinegar, citrus-based cleaners, bleach, or any acidic or alkaline product, as these will etch the polished surface and cause permanent dulling. Wipe spills immediately, especially oils, wine, and acidic liquids, as the polished finish is more vulnerable to etching and spotting than honed surfaces.

Installation: Use white polymer-modified thinset mortar to prevent any gray adhesive from telegraphing through the stone. Back-butter each tile in addition to applying thinset to the substrate to ensure full, even coverage and prevent lippage. Lay tiles with consistent, even spacing and use a rubber mallet and level to achieve a flat, uniform surface — the polished finish will make any lippage highly visible.

Important: Inspect all tile before installation. Variations in color, veining, and texture between pieces are natural characteristics of genuine stone — not defects. Natural Variation
Color, veining, texture, shade, movement, finish, and sizing vary from piece to piece. Product photos and samples are a general reference and may not match the exact material you receive. These variations are inherent characteristics of natural stone — they are part of its beauty, not defects.

Before You Install

Order roughly 10% extra to allow for cuts, waste, and future repairs.
Blend tiles from multiple boxes as you work to achieve the most natural, balanced appearance.
Dry-lay and inspect the full layout before setting a single tile.
Installation constitutes full acceptance of the product, so review everything carefully first.

Sealing & Care
Natural stone should be sealed with a quality penetrating sealer before and after installation, and re-sealed periodically in wet or high-traffic areas. Clean only with a pH-neutral stone cleaner; avoid acidic products, bleach, vinegar, and ammonia, which can permanently etch the surface. Outdoor installations may weather or change tone over time with exposure.
