Sealing: Noce Travertine is a porous stone and must be sealed before grouting and after installation. Apply a penetrating stone sealer and reapply every 12–18 months in wet areas such as showers — more frequently in high-use environments. The honed finish, while less reflective than polished, is equally susceptible to staining without proper sealing.

Cleaning: Clean with a pH-neutral stone cleaner and a soft cloth or mop. Avoid acidic cleaners (vinegar, citrus), alkaline degreasers, or abrasive scrubbers, which can etch the honed surface and degrade the sealer over time. Wipe up spills promptly, especially oils, coffee, and acidic liquids.

Installation: Use white or cream-colored polymer-modified thinset to avoid show-through on lighter grout joints. Back-butter each piece thoroughly to ensure full contact along the curved profile. Pre-fill any natural voids with travertine filler or matching grout before sealing. Use non-sanded grout for joints under 1/8 inch and ensure the trim is level and plumb for a clean architectural line.

Before You Install

Order roughly 10% extra to allow for cuts, waste, and future repairs.
Blend tiles from multiple boxes as you work to achieve the most natural, balanced appearance.
Dry-lay and inspect the full layout before setting a single tile.
Installation constitutes full acceptance of the product, so review everything carefully first.

Sealing & Care
Natural stone should be sealed with a quality penetrating sealer before and after installation, and re-sealed periodically in wet or high-traffic areas. Clean only with a pH-neutral stone cleaner; avoid acidic products, bleach, vinegar, and ammonia, which can permanently etch the surface. Outdoor installations may weather or change tone over time with exposure.
