Sealing: Honed travertine is more porous than polished stone and must be sealed before grouting and after installation. Apply a penetrating stone sealer and reapply every 12–18 months in wet areas such as bathrooms. Noce's darker tones can show water marks if left unsealed, so thorough sealer coverage on all faces and edges is especially important for molding pieces.

Cleaning: Clean with a pH-neutral stone cleaner and a soft, damp cloth. Avoid acidic cleaners, vinegar, citrus-based products, and any abrasive scrubbing pads, as these will etch the honed surface and dull its finish. Wipe up spills promptly to prevent staining, particularly from oils or dark liquids.

Sealing & Care
Natural stone should be sealed with a quality penetrating sealer before and after installation, and re-sealed periodically in wet or high-traffic areas. Clean only with a pH-neutral stone cleaner; avoid acidic products, bleach, vinegar, and ammonia, which can permanently etch the surface. Outdoor installations may weather or change tone over time with exposure.
