Sealing: Mont Blanc Serena marble must be sealed before grouting and again after installation with a high-quality penetrating stone sealer. In wet areas such as shower floors, reseal every 6–12 months to protect against moisture infiltration and staining. The honed finish, while more forgiving than polished, is still porous and will absorb liquids without proper sealing.

Cleaning: Clean with a pH-neutral stone cleaner and a soft mop or cloth — never use vinegar, lemon juice, bleach, or any acidic or abrasive cleaners, which will etch and dull the honed surface. Wipe up spills promptly, especially coffee, wine, and citrus, to prevent staining on this white stone.

Installation: Use white polymer-modified thinset mortar to prevent any gray show-through beneath the bright white stone. Install with non-sanded grout in joints of 1/8 inch or less — non-sanded grout is gentler on the polished chip edges and fills hairline joints cleanly. Align mesh sheets carefully during dry-lay to ensure consistent joint spacing across the field, and back-butter each sheet lightly for full adhesion coverage on the shower floor.

Important: Inspect all tile before installation. Variations in color, veining, and texture between pieces are natural characteristics of genuine stone — not defects. Before You Install

Order roughly 10% extra to allow for cuts, waste, and future repairs.
Blend tiles from multiple boxes as you work to achieve the most natural, balanced appearance.
Dry-lay and inspect the full layout before setting a single tile.
Installation constitutes full acceptance of the product, so review everything carefully first.

Sealing & Care
Natural stone should be sealed with a quality penetrating sealer before and after installation, and re-sealed periodically in wet or high-traffic areas. Clean only with a pH-neutral stone cleaner; avoid acidic products, bleach, vinegar, and ammonia, which can permanently etch the surface. Outdoor installations may weather or change tone over time with exposure.
