Joya Gold is a premium high-fired glass pool tile in a warm champagne-to-amber gold tone, engineered specifically for aquatic environments including swimming pools, spas, water walls, and fountains. Its luminous, jewel-toned surface catches sunlight and artificial lighting in ways that natural stone cannot, casting a warm golden shimmer across pool water.

Each 3×3 tile features a polished, glossy finish that intensifies the gold color when submerged, while the glass body maintains full color vibrancy — it will not fade, absorb minerals, or stain over time the way porous stone can. The format installs cleanly in a straight-set grid pattern and is compatible with standard pool-grade white thinset and epoxy or cement-based pool grout.

Sealing: Glass tile is non-porous and does not require sealing. However, grout joints should be sealed with a penetrating grout sealer appropriate for pool environments, and resealed annually or as part of routine pool maintenance to prevent mineral and chemical infiltration.

Cleaning: Clean with a pH-neutral, non-abrasive cleaner designed for glass or pool tile surfaces. Avoid acid-based cleaners, muriatic acid spot treatments directly on tile, and abrasive scrub pads, which can scratch the glossy glass surface. For calcium and mineral buildup at the waterline, use a calcium remover specifically formulated as safe for glass pool tile.

Installation: Use a white polymer-modified pool-grade thinset adhesive to prevent color bleed-through on the translucent glass body. Apply thinset using the back-butter method on each tile for full coverage and to eliminate voids that could cause cracking under water pressure. Grout with a sanded or unsanded epoxy or cement-based pool grout per joint width; ensure all materials are rated for submerged or continuously wet applications. Allow full cure time before filling pool with water.

Important: Inspect all tile before installation. Variations in color, veining, and texture between pieces are natural characteristics of genuine stone — not defects. In-stock orders are processed within 2–3 business days. Most tile and stone orders ship via scheduled LTL freight and typically arrive 2–10 business days after dispatch, depending on your destination. You'll receive tracking and carrier details by email as soon as your order leaves our warehouse.

Freight Delivery

  • Curbside delivery. The carrier unloads at the curb or driveway nearest your address; delivery does not include moving materials indoors or into a garage.
  • Scheduled appointment. The freight company contacts you directly to arrange a delivery window.
  • Signature required. An adult (18+) must be present to inspect and sign for the shipment.

Natural Variation
Color, veining, texture, shade, movement, finish, and sizing vary from piece to piece. Product photos and samples are a general reference and may not match the exact material you receive. These variations are inherent characteristics of natural stone — they are part of its beauty, not defects.

Before You Install

  • Order roughly 10% extra to allow for cuts, waste, and future repairs.
  • Blend tiles from multiple boxes as you work to achieve the most natural, balanced appearance.
  • Dry-lay and inspect the full layout before setting a single tile.
  • Installation constitutes full acceptance of the product, so review everything carefully first.

Sealing & Care
Natural stone should be sealed with a quality penetrating sealer before and after installation, and re-sealed periodically in wet or high-traffic areas. Clean only with a pH-neutral stone cleaner; avoid acidic products, bleach, vinegar, and ammonia, which can permanently etch the surface. Outdoor installations may weather or change tone over time with exposure.
