Sealing: White marble is highly porous and should be sealed with a premium penetrating stone sealer before installation and again every 12 months in bathrooms or other wet areas. Pale stones like Mont Blanc Serena show staining more readily than darker marbles, so proactive and consistent sealing is strongly recommended.

Cleaning: Clean with a pH-neutral stone cleaner and a soft microfiber cloth — never use vinegar, bleach, citrus-based cleaners, or abrasive scrubs, as these will etch and dull the polished surface. Wipe up spills immediately, especially from acidic substances such as wine, coffee, and citrus juice, which can permanently etch polished marble.

Installation: Use white polymer-modified thinset mortar to prevent any grey bleed-through on these light-colored tiles. Back-butter each tile in addition to applying thinset to the substrate to ensure full coverage and eliminate voids. For grout joints of 1/16″ to 1/8″, use a non-sanded white grout; allow tiles to fully cure before grouting and sealing.

Important: Inspect all tile before installation. Variations in color, veining, and texture between pieces are natural characteristics of genuine stone — not defects. Color, veining, texture, shade, movement, finish, and sizing vary from piece to piece. Product photos and samples are a general reference and may not match the exact material you receive. These variations are inherent characteristics of natural stone — they are part of its beauty, not defects.

Before You Install

Order roughly 10% extra to allow for cuts, waste, and future repairs.
Blend tiles from multiple boxes as you work to achieve the most natural, balanced appearance.
Dry-lay and inspect the full layout before setting a single tile.
Installation constitutes full acceptance of the product, so review everything carefully first.

Sealing & Care
Natural stone should be sealed with a quality penetrating sealer before and after installation, and re-sealed periodically in wet or high-traffic areas. Clean only with a pH-neutral stone cleaner; avoid acidic products, bleach, vinegar, and ammonia, which can permanently etch the surface. Outdoor installations may weather or change tone over time with exposure.
