Sealing: Mont Blanc Serena White Marble must be sealed with a premium penetrating stone sealer immediately after installation and before grouting. Given its pale white color and polished finish, it is highly susceptible to staining from oils, wine, and pigmented liquids. In wet areas such as showers, re-seal every 6–12 months; in drier applications such as feature walls, annual sealing is sufficient.

Cleaning: Clean with a pH-neutral stone cleaner diluted in warm water and a soft microfiber cloth or mop — never use vinegar, lemon juice, bleach, or any acidic or alkaline cleaner, as these will etch and permanently dull the polished surface. Wipe up spills immediately, especially coffee, citrus, and oils. Avoid abrasive scrubbing pads that can scratch the polish.

Installation: Use white polymer-modified thinset mortar to prevent any grey bleed-through on this bright white stone. For the 12×24 format, back-butter each tile in addition to combing the substrate to ensure full coverage and eliminate voids. A 1/3 offset (brick) pattern is recommended to reduce lippage; use tile leveling clips during installation. Non-sanded grout in a matching white or soft grey tone is recommended for joints up to 1/8 inch.

Important: Inspect all tile before installation. Variations in color, veining, and texture between pieces are natural characteristics of genuine stone — not defects. Color, veining, texture, shade, movement, finish, and sizing vary from piece to piece. Product photos and samples are a general reference and may not match the exact material you receive. These variations are inherent characteristics of natural stone — they are part of its beauty, not defects.

Before You Install

Order roughly 10% extra to allow for cuts, waste, and future repairs.
Blend tiles from multiple boxes as you work to achieve the most natural, balanced appearance.
Dry-lay and inspect the full layout before setting a single tile.
Installation constitutes full acceptance of the product, so review everything carefully first.

Sealing & Care
Natural stone should be sealed with a quality penetrating sealer before and after installation, and re-sealed periodically in wet or high-traffic areas. Clean only with a pH-neutral stone cleaner; avoid acidic products, bleach, vinegar, and ammonia, which can permanently etch the surface. Outdoor installations may weather or change tone over time with exposure.
