      The geology of Nero Marquina
      Nero Marquina is a metamorphic black marble formed from dark limestone under extreme geological pressure. Its signature white veining is calcite — mineral deposits that formed along natural fractures and fissures in the stone over millions of years. No two slabs or tiles are identical. The veining ranges from fine white lines to sweeping broad strokes, making every Nero Marquina installation one of a kind.

      Nero Marquina carries V3–V4 variation — veining intensity, density, and pattern vary significantly between pieces. This is the geological signature of the stone.
