Premium Natural Stone

Noce Travertine is a naturally formed sedimentary stone distinguished by its deep walnut-brown and caramel tones, cream veining, and the characteristic pitting and void structure unique to travertine. Quarried from premium deposits in the Middle East and surrounding region, it has long been a favorite for luxury outdoor living spaces and resort-style pools worldwide.

Cut to a robust 3cm thickness and finished with tumbling that rounds all edges and softens the face, this 12×24 pool coping piece is engineered for safety and longevity at the water's edge. The tumbled texture delivers natural slip resistance underfoot while the bullnose or drop-edge profile creates a smooth, safe overhang over the pool shell — eliminating sharp corners in a high-traffic wet zone.

Noce Travertine 3cm coping is ideally suited for in-ground pool perimeters, spa surrounds, and raised bond beams, and is also frequently used as stair treads and step nosings in outdoor landscape construction. Because this is a clearance and specialty item, we recommend ordering a sample to verify tone and variation in your specific lighting conditions, and purchasing 10% overage to account for cuts and future repairs.

Free Shipping: This product ships at standard freight rates calculated at checkout based on your location and order size.

Processing & Delivery: Orders are processed within 2–3 business days. Large orders ship via LTL freight — curbside delivery only. An adult must be present to sign for delivery. Estimated transit: 2–10 business days after shipment.

30-Day Returns: Uninstalled tile may be returned within 30 days of delivery. Inspect all tile carefully before installation — installed tile cannot be returned or exchanged. Samples are final sale.

Exclusions: Free shipping does not apply to Hawaii, Alaska, U.S. territories, or international addresses. Additional charges may apply for remote delivery areas.

Sealing: Noce Travertine is a porous stone and must be sealed before installation and prior to first exposure to water, chemicals, or sunlight. Apply a penetrating, breathable stone sealer rated for exterior and wet-area use. In pool environments, reseal every 12 months or as needed based on water exposure and chemical treatment levels. Pay special attention to the natural voids — ensure grout or filler and sealer fully penetrate all cavities to prevent moisture intrusion and freeze-thaw damage in cold climates.

Cleaning: Clean with a pH-neutral stone cleaner or plain water and a soft brush or mop. Never use acidic cleaners, muriatic acid, citrus-based products, or vinegar — these will etch and pit the travertine surface and strip the sealer. Avoid high-pressure washing directly on the stone surface. For algae or organic staining near pool water, use only stone-safe, non-acidic biological cleaners. Rinse thoroughly after any cleaning to remove residue.

Installation: Use a white or gray exterior-rated polymer-modified thinset suitable for natural stone and rated for wet/submerged conditions (ANSI A118.4 or better). Back-butter each piece fully given the large 12×24 format and 3cm thickness to eliminate voids beneath the stone. Set coping with a slight pitch (1/8 inch per foot) away from the pool to direct water drainage back to the deck. Grout joints with a sanded, polymer-modified grout in a complementary earth tone; use a grout release or sealer on the stone face before grouting to prevent staining of the porous travertine. Allow full cure before filling pool or exposing to water.

Important: Inspect all tile before installation. Variations in color, veining, and texture between pieces are natural characteristics of genuine stone — not defects. Order 10% overage for cuts, waste, and future repairs. Tile & Mosaic Depot specialists are available M–F 8:30AM–5PM PST at 855-797-8453.

Product & Installation Guidance

Natural stone is a product of the earth — every piece is one of a kind. A little planning ensures your finished installation looks its best and lasts for decades.

Natural Variation
Color, veining, texture, shade, movement, finish, and sizing vary from piece to piece. Product photos and samples are a general reference and may not match the exact material you receive. These variations are inherent characteristics of natural stone — they are part of its beauty, not defects.

Before You Install

  • Order roughly 10% extra to allow for cuts, waste, and future repairs.
  • Blend tiles from multiple boxes as you work to achieve the most natural, balanced appearance.
  • Dry-lay and inspect the full layout before setting a single tile.
  • Installation constitutes full acceptance of the product, so review everything carefully first.

Sealing & Care
Natural stone should be sealed with a quality penetrating sealer before and after installation, and re-sealed periodically in wet or high-traffic areas. Clean only with a pH-neutral stone cleaner; avoid acidic products, bleach, vinegar, and ammonia, which can permanently etch the surface. Outdoor installations may weather or change tone over time with exposure.

Responsibility
Tile & Mosaic Depot is not responsible for improper installation, labor costs, substrate conditions, product misuse, or damage from improper handling, sealing, maintenance, or harsh chemicals. No claims, returns, or replacements can be accepted on installed material.

California Proposition 65: Some natural stone products contain substances known to the State of California to cause cancer or reproductive harm. For more information, visit www.P65Warnings.ca.gov.

Order a Sample First

Seeing real stone in your own space — under your own light, beside your own finishes — is the best way to buy with confidence. We make it easy and affordable.

How It Works
Samples are just $7.99 each with free shipping, and they ship in 1–3 business days. Sizes vary by material and availability, typically ranging from 3"×3" up to 8"×8". Exact dimensions aren't guaranteed, but every sample is cut from the same material you'll receive in a full order.

What a Sample Shows
Samples help you evaluate the general color, texture, finish, and overall character of a product before committing to a full order. Because natural stone varies from piece to piece, your sample is representative — it may not capture the complete range of variation across an entire lot. For current lot photos, just ask our team.

Good to Know
